Initially, ****** was responsive to my questions and efficient with preparing the contract. On the scheduled date for work to begin, he neither showed up or phoned to reschedule. On the second scheduled date, he (Elite Clean) did not arrive. However, a subcontractor showed up without any of the needed material to begin the work. ****** never mentioned that he had subcontracted with another company to do the work. Although the subcontractor was pleasant to work with, he purchased the wrong paint. After the painting was complete, he pointed out the difference in color and phoned ****** to advise him. ****** instructed him to consider the job complete and not to re-paint. I initiated a conversation with ****** to discuss the matter. He gave several excuses for the poor workmanship and customer care. For example, ****** insisted that my walls were dirty, which is why the paint didn't match. When that did not suffice, he said the contract did not include painting the walls, so he would not be correcting the problem unless I paid an additional $700. I questioned him as to why then did the subcontractor paint the wall two feet down from the ceiling if it wasn't in the contract? I questioned his customer service and assured him that I would be taking the time to write a review. At this point, he became so verbally abusive that I hung up the phone. He proceeded to text me and leave threatening voicemails until I paid the remaining balance.

My name is ****** and upon my initial inspection Ms. ********* when questions arose about the process, I mentioned to Ms. ******** that our "In House" employee will answer any additional questions and that he would have to stop by to walk the house himself to gather information about how much drywall would be needed. We do not use subcontractors and if anY of our employees do side work on their time off, then that's fine with us. Everyone with our company is W'2 employees. The issue was inside the kitchen. Ms. ******** had a previous company restoration who, when they removed the ceiling for the kitchen, did not use a utility knife to cut along the edges where the ceiling and the wall meet and when they removed the ceiling, some of the drywall in a few areas were ********** our estimate that was given to Ms. ********* we did not charge her to repair the wall damage, nor to touch-up paint those areas. The paint that was made from the paint store was the exact color information that the customer gave our staff member. Therefore, the areas on the wall that we touched up and weren't on our estimate/agreement to fix, did not match the rest of the kitchen ********. ******** did have an issue with the difference in the color of the paint, so I mentioned to her that when we're dealing with the insurance company, we paint a few areas on the walls if a few areas do not match the insurance will pay us to paint all of the other walls to match.I told Ms. ******** that we did not charge her to repair the damaged walls, therefore we would have to charge her to paint her entire kitchen. She said no and that if I didn't do so, that she would leave a negative review about us. Our office called Ms. ******** for over a week, and I mentioned to her that if she didn't pay her balance that we would lien her home and, then she stated that she had threatened her.The customer texted me Karma, then wrote this review.I/we have the itemized estimate that we billed her.
