RED FLAGS, STOP SIGN- from the beginning the owner seemed eager to work with us and showed up consistently until we signed the contract. Once the project started they put a pool manager that had no idea how to conduct business or to manage a project like this. He told us it was the largest pool theyve done residentially. 50x20 gunite with infinity edge. The price got changed significantly and we were told after we signed everything that what we wanted was an add on cost. The pool was poured unevenly, The infinity edge is not level nor does it flow over the entire ledge. The tile has been re done 3 x and it still is the worst looking work done ever.. All the sides of the pool are ANGELES AND NOT STRAIGHT. The pool and the hot tub have drained several times while the wiring and the plumbing have not working properly. The pool cover can not be ordered because the sharp edges on the pool need redone. The pool cover company said they dont know how to engineer the cover. We still do not have electrical pool box that manages the pool. The owner of this company evades our calls and has not been on site since the signed contract. We have repeated request for him to show up. The few times he has called us, he is the rude and very sarcastic manner telling us that there is no one customer that has priority. He also said he had 30 projects going all at once. . We have got a letter from their attorney that we need to take our photos of their horrible work off social media. This pool is a luxury pool, costing well over 300k we highly recommend NOT doing business with Mud Slingers Pool & Patio.

I contracted with Mud Slingers on March 23, 2021, to build a 16'x32', 6 foot deep concrete swimming pool. From the beginning, it was a nightmare! *****, the project manager, could never be found. I called and texted him on multiple occasions but could rarely get in touch with him. I had to contact the office to try to find out what was going on. ***** would tell me he'd be at my house at a certain time and rarely did he show up. The pool build was delayed several times and finally the pool was started in early July 2021. **** was there to get the excavation crew started. He then left the job and told the crew he would be back to check on them. He never came back to make sure the pool was excavated in accordance to the plans and the contract. By the time the rebar was put in and the concrete poured, I then realized that my pool was nowhere near 6 foot deep and it also did not have flat ****** at the deep end as the plans showed. When I brought this to their attention, they said they I didn't ask for a 6 foot deep pool but it's stated in the first sentence of the contract that the pool was to be 6 foot deep. They refused to do anything about it and the owner of the company constantly avoided me. Their work is very sloppy and I had to hire another company to come out and fix all of the issues just to get my pool equipment running properly. I really wish I had done more research before hiring this company. I am in the legal process now trying to hold this company accountable.

This company will take your money and then not teach you anything about the pool or help you troubleshoot an issue. I have been bribed! In order for them to help me or give me needed info on my pool, they want something I exchange. A good review, or I get nothing from them. I have also been threatened by this company if I dont do it. I am taking legal action if this is not resolved

This is the first time Ive ever felt the need to file a complaint about a business. My *********** are business owners & have worked with numbers of contractors over the years & never had any issues until working with Mud Slingers. We started our project March 2021. After *** came to measure the worksite, he avoided us & left the ******************** to the site manager. Everything seemed to be going OK until the workers stopped showing up. We paid $15,000 for travel fee for them to complete our project, but the workers told us no one wanted to come so ended up showing up maybe twice a month from June through September 2021. Long story short, there were so many errors that had to be redone that they ended up firing the site manager & promoting his assistant, who really had no idea what he was doing. For the next few months my husband had to be the site manager & make sure this kid was doing everything correctly because *** didnt care. He had to fix the slide plumbing himself. The wiring for the pool lights had to be redone four times because it wasnt correct. When it came time for the plaster to be poured, the tile that was supposed to go in the plaster was not present, so they had to chip the plaster back out to put the tile pieces in place, then plaster around them. It looks terrible. We also ordered four pool barstools, but the last one was added hastily & not measured, so we ended up knocking that out in order to get the plaster done on time. We asked for pool school and it still is a no. *** assured at one point that the light wiring on the poolside wouldnt freeze. It froze & busted as soon as it got cold and still hasnt been fixed. We are without an app to control our lights & the wiring & lights are unfinished. It is April 2022. In Jan 2022, we decided to refuse to pay the last $11K cash (out of around $250K) until they fix the errors and finish the pool because we dont believe theyll show up otherwise. So they are now ignoring and blocking us.
