    I purchased a shoe online from this company. After wearing for a few minutes, I experienced pain on my left ankle. I returned the shoe within the return window mentioned by the company. After I returned the shoe, I was informed that they would not accept the return as the shoe was worn. This is a bizzare explanation given that a customer could only get to know the product after wearing it. I have bought a lot of shoes in past both online and retail but I have never experienced this type of service. Request you to please accept my return and issue a refund.Order# *******

    Our online return policy states the following:

     

    Return Policy
    Returns must be in NEW CONDITION. Shoe returns must include original shoe box. ShoeStores.com reserves the right to refuse a refund if merchandise received is not in its original condition or outside the 30 day return period. Refunds are issued to original form of payment within 5 days of receipt of return.IMPORTANT: Please include your order number within the returning package.EXCHANGES: For the best service and selection, please order your replacement items online.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. 

    If the company has a return policy which is more stringent than industry standards, it has to highlight that when someone tries to make a purchase. Providing a link to the return policy at the bottom of its online page and pointing the same to the customer is unprofessional.

    Parked in the Stouts Lot. Signs posted said parking was paid on Sundays 5 pm-4 am. We read and acknowledged said signs and as it was 10:20 am did not pay. Sometime between 10:20 am and noon the owner moved a "No Oakmont parking sign" to the font of the lot. It VERY clearly was not there when we parked initially. Or we WOULDNT have parked there. And my car along with others towed. Not good business practice and not to mention extremely unethical. Paid $150 + TWO $30 Uber rides to get car back.
