We contracted for windows through ******. They hired Indiana Quality Windows and Doors to install them. Our expectation is that we contracted and paid ****** to have a professional $10,000 installation. This should have included checking for rot before the windows were installed. The installers indicated they didn't see any visible rot. They did not spot check the frames and posts to make sure the underlying structures were good. The posts that several windows were installed against were rotted all the way through to the outside. The lower screws in the windows would not have seated properly with all the rot. We feel they should have caught that. We caught the rot as we were beginning to paint. We could literally poke through the paint with our fingers to the underlying rot. We certainly aren't professionals, yet we were able to catch it. We expect that a professional would have caught this right away.Review from Jackie M

We were disappointed in Indiana Quality overall. They sided one side of our addition and then passed our job to another company without notifying us. It took us weeks to get anyone to return a call and get us scheduled initially. We had to order more product and the material has been in since December 27th and no one has contacted us to schedule the remaining work. We have left a message and two emails that went unanswered until today. I called to get an update and was told they were no longer finishing the job. We understand that schedules fill up, weather and illness play a role, etc., but we are only asking for communication. The work they did on one side was great but their communication and customer service could use some improvements.Indiana Quality Windows & Doors Response

Hey ****. I appreciate you reaching out and certainly understand where you are coming from. The gentleman doing your installation used to work with us and he is amazing. We are in the middle of a big job and wanted to ensure you had no additional delays so we asked ***** (other installer) to see if he could jump on your job immediately. He said he could, so we went in this direction to ensure you were taken care of quickly.
I'll follow up with a phone call as well.

Very nice guys did what I asked in and out cleaned up no problems with the work told me about cracked sash 2 windows were made wrong not there fault. Looking forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks.Indiana Quality Windows & Doors Response

Are windows and door installations came with a few bumps in the road, which being a retired contractor I can certainly understand it happens. Ninta in the office, to the installers worked thru the problems and resolved them. The installation was great, when finished all debris was cleaned up. Please remember that things will go wrong(******** law)..However please be patient and just explain any concerns to them or anyone you work with for a much easier solution. Very professional! We had 3 exterior doors installed. They were two installers who knew how to do doors and answered all my questions. Did not stop working from the time they arrived until they finished the job!! I would definitely recommend them!!Thank you!!Indiana Quality Windows & Doors Response
