            I had a doctors appointment on 08/12. Insurance adjustment occurred on 11/17 with remaining bill of $144.85 due on 12/03. I paid the bill online on 11/30. I noticed a few days later that they withdrew $144.85, 4 times from my account. Ive called 3 or 4 times since then requesting a refund. *** been told that a supervisor would have to authorize but the refund was pending a subsequent visit. I told them multiple times I dont want to wait for another bill and want my money refunded. They owe me $434.55.

            I sincerely apologize that this was not handled properly by our billing company.  I have spoken with them regarding this issue and put a process in place to avoid this sort of issue in the future.  This patient should not have had to call 4 times to ask for a refund.  Our billing company never informed us until 2/23 (4th call).  As soon as we were notified/simultaneously to receiving this complaint, we immediately began reaching out to the patient.  We have spoken with him, apologized profusely and refunded his credit card.
