On 7/8/2024, I paid Interstate $103 to tow my vehicle to a repair shop. While being towed, a window on the camper shell of my truck's bed broke. Interstate then contacted me about this broken window and stated that they would do everything "to make this right." With their approval, I found a dealership/repair shop that would ship in the parts needed to fix and repair the window. The total came out to $861.91. After silence from Interstate towing for over a week, they finally responded when I called and said they would only pay me $300 for the damages. Obviously I did not accept since they are liable for the damages. After many more calls to the company, they said they would give me $700. I do not know where they are getting these numbers from, and they are making this a significant issue. I am down more than $900 with the cost of the tow and repair, and this company is trying to lowball me into taking a large loss because they know it would not be cost-effective to sue. I believe I am at least entitled to the money I spent on the repair and would request that I receive the money for the tow back as compensation for lying and disgusting customer support and **********************.
