    i had a propane tank and line installed at my house I was running two appliances off of the tank. A tankless water heater and a propane stove. Energy star rating for my tankless water heater is 200 pounds a year propane stove usage is very minimal. in five months my 400pound tank was half empty. The entire years usage on the water heater took place in less than 5 months. When i went to investigate why i was using so much gas I found a leak at the propane tank. on the propane companys side of the line. i called and reported the leak and asked it be fixed. rather than coming out immediately to remedy a gas leak that couldve been dangerous to me and my families property the company asked me to shut off the tank and they would come the following day. they came out and repaired the leak. i then called asking for a bill adjustment for the amount of gas that had leaked from their side of the tank. they refused to make this adjustment and stated I tampered with the tank causing the leak to lessen my bill. this is poor customer service and they are blatantly putting customers at risk by not answering emergency service calls immediately and also taking advantage of their control of the situation.
