6/10/22 Received estimates of $34215.00 to replace roofing, siding and gutters. Was told that it would take a few weeks maximum to do the job.9/7/22 Paid $19,400.00 10/15/22 Paid $8,000.00 10/24/22 We left to go to ****** to meet our new grandson, ****** advised us to have a great time, he would send us photos of the progress and it should be complete by the time we get home. We received no pictures, the person that we had staying at the house with the dogs said that they were there a few times. We arrived home on October 30, 2022 and there wasnt a whole lot more done. He had stacked all of his materials on my front porch, with the next day being Halloween, I moved the stuff off of the porch for trick or treaters. He did not show up on Monday the 31st at all, I did text him and tell him where his materials were, no answer. He showed up alone on Tuesday November 1, 2022 and set up his aluminum break to wrap the fascias, my wife advised me that within an hour, he loaded up his equipment and left, I raised my garage door as he was pulling away. I texted him a few times to see when he was coming back, no answer. On November 4, 2022, he finally replied to me with excuses but said that they would be back the following week to finish the job, we never saw him again. I feel that this gentleman is a ***** and is looking for easy ways to make money at the expense of homeowners needing repairs done.Last seen on 11/1/22 11/28/22 After 4 weeks of ridicule from my neighbors and complaints from my HOA about the condition and look of my property and no response, I reached out to another contractor for an estimate to finish the work and install gutters and downspouts.12/27/22 Paid another contractor $7128.00 to finish the work and correct some items 1/9/23 We received text messages threatening to *** us for breach of contract and he used some very colorful language.1/27/23 He filed a mechanics lien on our property for $30,000.00

    Business response

    04/06/2023

Mr and *************************** reached out to one of my sales reps, at that time, about a year ago and noticed they had storm damage.

A couple months later they reached out to me asking to meet up with their insurance company to help them get their roof covered under insurance.

I did go there and found storm damage on their roof, Siding, and gutters.

We have many claims and projects that we handle throughout the year. We like to help homeowners out rather than them having to pay so much out of pocket.

Going from them hoping I could get their roof covered by insurance,  I was able to get them siding, roof, and gutters all covered by insurance.

We got the down payment / deposit. We got the siding materials and shingle materials ordered. We don't order gutters at this time because we have a crew that comes to do our gutter projects and they have a trailer to spit out the seamless gutters.

I think it was about a month or so later we got the roofing materials and crew ready to be install the roof. We installed the roof and even helped spruce up their metal chimney by going the extra mile and painting it for them.

we were then able to move onto the siding project.

We had started the siding project ourselves with my in-house helpers because my crews were busy on their own work.

****** at this time was talking about being able to pocket money himself and not needing to pay the deductible because from the difference of my retail estimate to the insurance estimate, the insurance estimate was more.

But, before I got the homeowners cleared and meet up with adjuster, I require all homeowners to sign a contract/ agreement that all insurance proceeds including supplements,  deductible, and product upgrades be paid to my business which is EverDry Exteriors LLC.

******, being an All *************** adjuster himself,  was trying to commit insurance fraud not once, but twice at this time.

after we did about 95% of the siding work, extra work they had requested we do, we had an emergency issue come up with a previous project that we had to handle immediately.  It took a couple of weeks or so to be able to get back to the *****.

****** had even reached out to me and asked if we were going to finish and I replied " of course we will be finishing. We have a signed contract/ agreement and scope of work to complete."

****** had hired another contractor to finish the project which breached our signed contract/ agreement.

They had committed insurance fraud and theft. I finally acquired a lawyer and am currently building a case to take them to court. I also put a mechanic lien on their property because they owe with fees and extra work $30,000.

sorry and thank you for your time

We were originally quoted $5,500. After meeting with my husband about the roof he had stated that he was going to have to replace two of the panels on top. So he needed a thousand more dollars to do that. So when I asked him what the other thousand was for when he asked me for it he stated in a message that it was for the *** boards. He did not replace those and now he is refusing to do so. It was only discovered after we were moved to ceiling that the boards were not replaced
