We were put into contact with this homeowner from a home warranty company. We attended the appointment with pictures. We submitted a report to the home warranty. The authorization department decided that the home owners contract does not cover the failed item and would not authorize us for any repairs. We are truly sorry for the bad experience. We do not make the decisions on coverage. We report what we find and then can only continue when authorized.Review from Hermelindo P

Just like the other reviews. This company is a scam & aren't professional in the least. They were sent to us by our insurance company First American Home Warranty. They have come by 3 times now & still have not fixed our problem with our showers not getting heated. The first two times they came over and we're here no more than five minutes. They simply check the water and since it was heating that ONE time they said they couldn't do much AND he left the water heater power OFF. We didn't even notice until there was absolutely NO HOT water coming from our sinks, which have been fine. The second time, the guy didn't do anything but go downstairs real quick & from there he decided that our entire water heater needed to be replaced and LIED to our insurance company saying there was a leak. We were never informed of that by them. The third time they came to replace our once again perfectly fine water heater & CHARGED ME $425 OUT OF POCKET. After this visit, our showers are still NOT getting hot water and they are not even returning our calls or *************** aren't replying to our insurance company either.I believe this is not a legit company and are simply scammers. Be AWARE IF THIS COMPANY SHOWS UP AND YOUR HOUSE AND WATCH WHAT THEY DO.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

We serviced this homeowner through their home warranty company. The home warranty requires that the item to be serviced be listed on the work order. The work order listed water heater as the item to be serviced. We are not allowed to travel around the home looking for issues. At the first visit we found the water heater running with specs for the manufacturer of the water heater. At our second visit we found water seeping from the bottom of the water heater. We have picture evidence of this leak that was submitted to the home warranty for the approval to replace the water heater. We spoke with the homeowner about the modifications needed for the replacement of the water heater that was not covered by the home warranty. The home owner agreed to the non-covered charges. The home warranty requires that the non-covered charges be accepted before the water heater can be picked up. We did not move in any direction with out the approval of the home warranty and the home owner. We have a scheduled and accepted appointment with the homeowner for Monday to reassess. We had to wait for authorization from the home warranty before we could make another visit. The home warranty made authorization for another visit and we offered the first available to the home owner. There are *** rules whne it comes to working with the home warranty. We have been an approved and high scoring vendor for several home warranty companies for several years. We speak to our reps with these home warranties on a regular basis.Review from LaShonda M

Water Heater Solutions was assigned to me by the home warranty company I have. The company does not have anyone who actually answers the phone all communication is either text messages from random phone numbers or email from "Dispatch" no company name appears. The issue was regarding a stopped toilet, and associated drain. The technician come to my home flushed the toilet and said no issue. The technician stated if the issue comes back or persists to call because the initial dispatch would be good for 30 days. Well a few days later the toilet, bathroom sink and kitchen are clogged. I am not a technician or expert but some how all the lines run together (I believe). My husband called today to report the issue has not been resolved. The home warranty representative read my husband the notes from the technician. The technician stated I was running a salon out of my home. What a joke! I am not hairstylist, I pay someone to do my hair. I can't believe the audacity of the technician. I find it troublesome that this company does not aim to mitigate issues. If I could give zero stars I would. One thing I have noticed is they are quick to respond to foolishness but present not resolution based on the reason the company even exist...fixing plumbing issues. Learn how to complete the job you were hired for and maybe you will not have be in defense mode.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

We were dispatched to this homeowner through a home warranty. The home warranty requires a failure for a repair to be made. This homeowner reported the drains to be slow but not stopped up. This was reported to the home warranty. At the time of the appointment she was washing her daughters hair in the kitchen sink. We are required by our contract with the home warranty to report. The homeowner reported to us that the home warranty told her that we said she was running a salon in her home. At the time the homeowner reported it to us we called the home warranty to make sure the report did not reflect anything about a salon. The home warranty makes the decisions about coverage as we do not have access to this information. The Dispatch system is the communication system the the home warranty wants to be use for all commutation with their homeowners as they has access to the communication as well. We are very sorry for her upsetting experience but can only work under the home warrantys coverage and guidelines unless the homeowners wants a retail relationship.Review from Mike S

Water Heater Solutions was assigned to my warranty claim with American Home Shield. It was five days before they could get to my home. The man who arrived did not have the tool to clear the drain line from my kitchen sink. He had a cheap looking hand held tool that did nothing but make the situation worse. He stated a larger cable could not be used. He then stated a hydrojet must be used, but Water Heater Solutions could not do this. I called a different company. They arrived within the hour, cabled the line, and cleared the blockage. Very frustrating to have paid for no results, other than an incorrect diagnosis, and a lot of stress on my family.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

We had contact with with this family through a home warranty company. The request came through on Wednesday morning. This family was schedule for Monday. The home warranty does not cover weekend service so we were able to attend the appointment on the third day which is inside of the home warrantys guidelines. The super cold weather most every full service plumbing company backed up a little. The family has allowed a large amount of noodles to go down the drain. We attended the appointment with the approved equipment by the home warranty company. We called into the authorization department for further cleaning based off the hard 90 degree fitting in the 1 1/2 inch drain line. We are very sorry for this experience but our hands are tied to only act within the authorization of the home warranty.Review from Wade C

I cant express enough just how important it is to hire people who have experience in the field your business pertains to, as well as having experience in the fields that coincide with the appropriate systems. We had a garbage disposal that needed to be replaced in my house. We called our HSA home warranty to have this addressed. They provided us with Water Heater Solutions. The first time he came, he reviewed the garbage disposal and his analysis was we needed a new garbage disposal and he needed to order it. When he came back the second time with the garbage disposal, he realized the old one was hardwired into the house and he needed to install a GFCI outlet for the disposal, to which he explained he wasnt too comfortable installing himself. Being that I am a contractor, I told my wife to tell him to just install the disposal itself and I will take care of the rest. No big deal at all. Its what I came home to was the reason why Im writing this review. I go to start finishing the job and realized he left live Romex completely exposed and touching underneath my sink. Thankfully the switch was off so no current was going through but nevertheless exposed. I cant express enough how important it is to cap live wiring, especially when its exposed, even more so when its exposed underneath a sink. Thankfully this was caught early enough to where this was not an issue but this could have turned bad in so many ways. The only reason why Im leaving one start is because of this and this alone. It didnt bother me he didnt feel comfortable installing a box with a gfci outlet. It bothered me he didnt know that exposed ******************* need to be capped regardless if theres a switch controlling the current of the wire. For any type of contractor, plumber, hvac, electrical, etc. understanding that capping ******************* is 101. I understand mistakes do happen but this is one that should absolutely not happen period.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

This is an accurate review. Our tech who attended this appointment did make this mistake. We did not know about this mistake until this review came a cross on 1-9-23. We immediately called our tech and had a meeting with him. We discussed the issue and trained on the mistake so that this experience never happens again. We have since had a meeting with all our techs to discuss safety on all jobs for the home they are in. We are truly sorry for this mistake and are happy to be made aware so training can be reinforced and discussed.Review from Kirk S

We opened a case with our home warranty company and Water Heater Solutions was assigned. Although they responded a little outside the 24-hour window, it was still the day after the ticket was opened. They sent a technician that same day and were even willing to work a little after hours to complete the job. ***** was professional and did a solid job on the repair. He even noticed another potential issue with another fitting and tightened that as well. We are very thankful to have water and hot water working in our home again - with no leaks.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

Water heater solutions definitely broke my crawl space window that a different company fit through to fix my gas lines. Water heater solutions also wouldnt respond to my home warranty company which is why they did not hear from me for months. Because they were unresponsive. I called ***-***-5014 multiple times and was told by ***** that she needed to contact the manager and get back with me and never did. I called and messaged ***-***-7041 multiple times with no response. Water heater solutions finally told the home warranty company months later the crawl space was inaccessible but there is also an access point in the basement. They also said the crawl space caused the damage to the pipes but as you see in their response they never looked at the pipes because they said it was dangerous from the glass of the window they broke, they never looked at the pipes. The only thing they care about is lying in their responses on this website. Horrible company. They know they broke my window and wont respond. Bad businessWater Heater Solutions, LLC Response

This is the second review from the same homeowner about the same experience. We were assigned this job by a home warranty company. Through the home warranty we have specific rules that we are contracted to obey. The access point our tech was shown was under a broken glass window to access the suspected gas leak. We were shown no other means of access. The home warranty and respect for the homeowner does not allow us to go anywhere on a property without specific permission. The home warranty requires access to be provided by the home owner. OSHA requires openings for access to be be safe and a certain size. This access point did not provide safe working conditions for our tech to enter or exit the area. We were able to provide the home warranty pictures. The home warranty would not approve the job to be finished even if safe access was provided. Our hands are tied in order to help this homeowner out. We are truly sorry for a bad experience but coverage through the home warranty was denied to us.Review from Britney A

If I could give 0 stars I would. Contractor came out for a gas leak 2 months ago. Broke my window and is now unresponsive aside from the time they accidentally called me. Horrible business. Horrible ethics. Ive been waiting 2 months on a repair because the guy broke my window and they dont even have the ethics to even come back let alone fix the window they broke. This company is a joke.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

We did not hear anything from this homeowner until just a few days ago claiming that we broke this window. The appointment we had was early September. This window was to a crawlspace where there was a gas leak was reported. The window lifted up to provide access to the area. The window is too small of an opening to safely make access into the crawlspace. Also the access was made even tighter by having to crawl under the window. Our tech did not go into the crawlspace since the opening was dangerous by size and having to crawl under glass. With two months since the appointment and no word from the homeowner until a few days ago, it does not seem logical that we are responsible.Review from Mark C

We have a simple sink stoppage. They came and could not fix it. They stayed 5 minutes and said we can't fix it then left. I had to call another plumber to get it fixed.Water Heater Solutions, LLC Response

We had contact with this homeowner through a home warranty company. The sink stoppage turned out to be a much more complicated stoppage needing a hydrojetter crew. This is equipment that the home warranty company knows that we do not have. We are required by the home warranty to make an appointment and attend the appointment for every work order we are assigned by the home warranty. We can not transfer a work order to another more specialized vendor unless these steps are followed first. We called home warranty immediately after the appointment to request the transfer to a hydrojetting crew. We personally called the home owner to let them know that this was done. After we contacted the home warranty for the transfer it is the home warranty that provides the contact information for their specialized crew. We are terribly sorry that we were not able to clear this drain and alleviate this issue from this home owner.Review from Ja M

This is a home warranty customer. Her work order came to ** on June 1st at 6:59 pm after normal business hours. The homeowner was contacted on Friday June 2nd the very next day and scheduled for the next business day within guidelines for the home warranty. This water heater is under manufacturer warranty and parts are extremely difficult to find and backordered. This home warranty requires repairs as needed and replacement if necessary. This water heater is repairable. We have turned all this information over to the home warranty. Our rep is working with his bosses for a resolution. We are not authorized for any further work at this time. We are waiting on a response and authorization from the home warranty.
