            My wife and I had a last minute idea to go fishing and decided to rent a cabin at mystic waters. I called them and they said that they didnt allow fishing after 9pm but that if we were quiet and didnt disturb others then fishing through the night wouldnt be a problem. However, at 930 a man came by and told us that fishing after 9pm wasnt allowed. I explained that they didnt allow fishing after 9pm and that we would need to stop. I explained to him what I was told and he simply responded with no we werent and wouldnt budge. I explained that if we had known this we wouldnt have wasted the money since it was just before 7 pm. He didnt care and said that the lady was new and we were misinformed. We paid over ****** dollars to camp and fish. We were lied to. We met another couple that was in the same position with their children. This is absolutely ridiculous and I want my money back. Please help us.

            We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at Mystic Waters. We purchased the property in December of 2021 and are no longer a pay lake and do not offer any night fishing.  We have made a lot of upgrades and improvements to the property and it is now a family friendly campground for the community to enjoy.  As noted in our paperwork (which is signed by all of our guests) and on our website, we only allow catch-and-release fishing from 9am to 9pm on the two smaller lakes. We are very strict on this policy.  We do understand that you are interested in night fishing and hope that you can find a pay lake in the area that meets your needs.

            We have offered refunds for those who came out and decided not to stay in the cabin because they were not aware of the change, but I did see that you decided to stay regardless of the fishing policy.  I hope you were able to enjoy some time with your wife.
