Purchased a wig through the Beauty Nook app. Never received. I located owners phone number ************ and spoke with her several times. Each time she delayed claiming she is ill and I did feel bad as I too had a similar diagnosis. But now I believe she is a scam artist and lies to delay you from going to your bank to do a charge back. DO Not BUY from her. Truly a con as if story were true she would shut down her business so no one else can purchase.Initial Complaint

This retailer took $1550 of my money in October 2022 and has not provided the product. They will not return messages regarding status updates. I filed a PayPal dispute and was then contacted immediately by the business owner that I needed to close the dispute before my order would be processed. This is fraudulent. I should have known better. If any comment is made on their ******** page, they'll immediately delete it. Terrible business practice. And they still have the item for sale on their website that I've been waiting 9 months for. And the product they sell is for women suffering with cancer or other health conditions that have caused them to go bald. The level of wrong here is indescribable.Initial Complaint

I ordered a wig from them online on 12-9-2022. I have not received it. They have not returned my calls or messages placed on Jan 18, Feb 23, and Mar 20, 2023. When I ordered the wig I was told there was plenty of stock. I have verified that other wig sellers have had this item in stock for months. I once belonged to their ******** page and there were many other complaints from customers not getting their orders. Beauty Nook would quickly remove the complaints and ban that customer from their ******** page.Initial Complaint

I purchased a wig from Beauty Nook on December 9, 2022 and have not received it even though it has been available from the manufacturer for many months. When I purchased the wig on December 9th I was assured there was plenty of inventory. I have reached out to owner, ***********************, 3 times on Jan 18, Feb 23, and Mar 20, 2023 with no response.I belonged to their ******** page until recently and there were many other complaints from customers not getting their orders. 04/11/22- I used a store credit I had to purchase another wig. After waiting months with no item received on 01/03/23 I reached out to their ******** page and had someone reach out and credit my account for the item I had purchased. The credit was processed on 01/04/23. On 01/08/23 I placed a new order with the credit I had received ($353.05) and paid the remaining balance of $5.36, totaling a purchase of 3 items for $358.41. The 3 items have never been received. I reached out again to the owner on March 3rd, March 8th and March 14th via email with no response. On March 16th I reached out to the owner on their ******** page and they promptly called me the evening of March 16th and told me to send them some other wig options and they would get my order processed ASAP. I sent them multiple wig options the evening of March 16th and March 17th and was told they would confirm my items where in stock that weekend. I reached out again on April 10th because I still had not heard back and have not received another response from them.Initial Complaint

I am requesting a refund of $324.41 from Beauty Nook LLC, an online wig merchant.I have an outstanding store credit balance with this merchant of $324.41. This store credit is the accumulated result of returns I made of prior orders for which I paid by credit card (merchant name "******* *******") using PayPal (merchant name T.I.L.C.C.O").On 9/28/22 I placed an order (#******) using $298.35 of this store credit; this order has never been fulfilled. I have repeatedly requested an update on this order through multiple emails to the support address listed on the website ************************************************* My initial email inquiry on 11/1/22 did receive a response on 11/2/22 stating that item was on backorder and expected in Dec 2022. Since then, I have received NO RESPONSE from the merchant to follow-up email inquiries I sent on 1/13/23, 1/19/23, 1/26/23, and 2/2/23. I also left a voicemail 1/20/23 on the sales number listed on their website *************), with no response. To summarize, the merchant has not communicated with me for more than 3 months (since 11/2/22) regarding an unfulfilled order I placed more than 4.5 months ago (on 9/28/22). Per the information above and documentation that I have attached, there is good reason to believe that Beauty Nook LLC has ceased doing business with me as a customer. Therefore I am requesting a remittance of $324.41 (the balance of my unfulfilled order for $298.35, plus $26.06 remaining store credit from previous orders) refunded to me - either to my credit card, or in the form of a check mailed to my address. I have ordered 5 wigs going as far back as October 2021 and have not received my wigs yet. Totaling over $1100. I have sent 6 emails requesting my orders be canceled and the money refunded and have not gotten any response. The phone number for the company just goes to voicemail so email is the only way to communicate with them. I have placed three online orders with this business, 1 in Feb. 2022, June 2022 and July 2022. I have returned a few orders and my account has been credited. I have been emailing since July 26 as to when my orders would be placed/shipped anything and still no email, no call nothing! I have requested a refund of $543.20 back on my debit card within 5 days of my email which was July 28. The order that was placed in Feb, I kept requesting an update of an ETA, one time it was **** next time it was ***** then end of July and I still have not received a thing! I have included the email chain of these requests.
