  We had this company seal an existing blacktop portion of driveway they put down a couple years prior and there has been a large section of that sealer job that failed. We paid for a chip and seal driveway that was supposed to become just as solid as blacktop, just not be as smooth and would not allow grass to return into the driveway. Currently, the driveway is basically loose pea gravel that has never hardened and has grass all throughout. *** attempted multiple times to have him remedy the issue but calling the office, in which *** spoken to both his mother and his father as well as ****, the person who has done the work and taken the check. He also came out on one occasion approximately in august of this year to see it, acknowledged it wasnt right and that he would go back to speak with his father to see how they could fix it best, he offered to blacktop it at his cost during this interaction but I said that was why we did the chip/seal route was due to cost and by his initial recommendation that it would be the best approach. Ive spoken with him multiple times since the site visit by phone and there was always an excuse of truck broken down, waiting for parts, waiting for helpers etcWe paid $5700 for these two services. To be completed correctly on 11-11-22 by personal check. My last attempt to call him 9-27-23 went to a full mailbox that I couldnt leave a message and an unanswered text as well. I feel *** exhausted all avenues at this time as weve tried to get this resolved since spring of 2023
