    This new management is saying that my rent payment checks are starter checks and they are not going through my bank. My bank is saying that there is no way my checks are not going through. I feel like they are discriminating against me because I'm computer illiterate. I want them to change their system to accept my rent checks.

    *** ******** rent payment in December 2024 was via a personal check. When the check was deposited by the apartment community where she resides, the bank rejected the check due to it being flagged as a duplicate check number from the same bank account. We cannot control when the bank rejects a form of payment. Bank policies are outside of our control. Our office accepts payment in the form of check, money order, cashier's check or ACH. The Property Manager personally met with *** ****** to discuss the bank rejection of her rent payment at the time the bank rejected it. She was offered to provide a different form of payment, including a new check of a unique check number. *** ****** was not charged late fees as a sign of good will until she was able to provide an acceptable form of payment.

    I lived in the ***** ***** **********. I moved out in October 2021. I made sure the place was clean prior to moving out. They have not refunded the deposit. I keep getting the run around and now I can't get a hold of them at all. Even when I live there, they never responded to my maintenance issues. I had rodents in the home. I just want my deposit back.

    Ms. ********* left her unit dirty and damaged.  A large sticker was adhered to the refrigerator that had to be removed, one of the bedroom doors had stickers all over it and had to be replaced and the other bedroom door had damage to the door jamb (frame).  Attached are Ms. *********** Security Deposit Disposition form outlining all of the damage and cleaning charges.  Ms. ********* also left owing a rent balance on her ledger.  Also attached are invoices showing the cost of the door jamb replacement, door replacement (there were numerous doors ordered on the attached invoice - Ms. *********** door is one of them), and the cleaning invoice for her unit.  After the rent balance, cleaning charges and damage charges were deducted out of Ms. *********** security deposit, she actually still owes the property a balance of $144.50.
