    I purchased this 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan from Shawnee Mission Kia on 11/4/24 and today 12/31/24 the engine is having problems. When I asked for a replacement they told me there’s nothing they can do. I was sold a bad car from a dealership and I’m not okay with that

    I came here to purchase a vehicle but was told there was a leak in the vehicle we were looking at. They stated they replaced the water reservoir and we decided to purchase the vehicle. They ran my credit and stated the best they could do was a 12% interest. They lied about my credit score and when I tried to walk out they tried to say they could run my daughters credit so they could put it under her name. We went back and forth about my credit for a while and finally reached an agreement. We put a $500 deposit down and we were waiting for a check to clear the bank. We finally get home with the vehicle and find a bunch of issue with the car. There was taillights out, the vehicle wasn't clean, the gas tank lid was a struggle to get closed. We took the vehicle back for repairs and when we went to pick it up the didn't do any actual repairs.

    I leased a 2024 Kia Telluride from this dealership on 6/3/2024 and traded in a Ford Explorer. As of 7/5/2024, the payoff check for the Ford has not been received by my credit union, so I had to make an additional payment to stay current on that loan. I have also not received any paperwork or correspondence regarding my new account with Kia Finance, account number, or how to pay my loan. I’ve reached out to the dealership several times and have received no response. I called Kia Finance on 7/3 to attempt to make my first car payment and was told that they have no record of me having an account. They could not pull it up by my info nor the VIN number and advised me to follow up with the dealership. The lady at the front desk acted like she could not help me when I asked to speak to someone in finance regarding this issue. She just kept saying they don’t take payments and finally transferred me to a random voicemail who she said was the finance manager (still no call back). At this point, I have no idea what is going on and can’t seem to get through to anyone. My car payment for the Telluride is now late and I’m still having to make payments on my trade which is unacceptable since the purchase transaction occurred over a month ago now. This issue needs to be resolved asap before it impacts not only my finances, but my credit overall.

    Took my car back in May to SM Kia and still hasn't been fixed. It is still under warranty, they said a warranty inspector had to come out before they could do anything, they said they had called the inspection company, but they didn't, they lied, I called them and set up the inspection. He came out today, Nov 14, 2023, I just called SM Kia and the kid told me somebody would call me tomorrow. They have had my car for two weeks and have done absolutely nothing. The $300.00 was for a cam sensor which was not the problem. I want my car fixed!

    Traded in a car and the vehicle I traded for has something wrong with it. I went back in less than a week and they kept it and said it was low on antifreeze. We go it back and three days later the same problem. Have been trying to get a hold of the manager all morning or someone and no one will call me back.

    Started out with my Check Engine Light on in my 2016 Kia, I took car to Shawnee Mission Kia on 090522 I was told what was wrong it cost me 1900.00. Check engine light bk on around 042423, they mention Sparks plugs this time and I pd 400, Bk to Kia 3rd time chk engine on 050823, Kia had my car for 2 days no one would answer or did anyone ever call me to give update on my car while they had it , I had to finally get ****** * to call at this point they mention spark plugs burning that causing the problem. Why was this not mention a month ago, I keep getting the run around I am a single Female and believe I am being taken advantage of they want me to pay another 600 to fix the same problem. I really think my Engine is Bad and need to be replaced I have an Extended Warranty but they are refusing to replace it. Its been very poor cust serv they will not give me a Loaner car for my inconvenience all they keep doing is asking for more money to Fixed the same problem. I feel why was it not fixed the 1st time when I paid them 1900 for Engine work. I have given them around 2900. already and my Check engine Light is still on. This is Unfair and not Right I need my Car I have a child to take to school and other places and I have to go to work and my car is very much needed and KIA has not done anything but continue to Escalate the Problem and Ask for more Money when It should have been fixed on 090522, when I first Trusted them w/ my Car. I would like to File a Complaint against Shawnee Ms KIA and also would like it if BBB can help me Resolve this matter and get my Car Fixed once and for all I dont think I should be obligated to give anymore money due to it appears to be the same issued. If I can get this Solved I will no longer take my business to Shawnee MS Kia ever again. Thank you In Advance for your help in this Matter.
