I moved into my ground level apartment, per request, at Casa De Fuentes apartments on or around January 3rd. I was out of town on January 21st, and there was a fire in the apartment next to mine. They informed me that they had to move to a new apartment, but it was on the 2nd floor. I then had to move all my stuff again, and had no one to help get the bigger things up the stairs. This is the reason I required a ground level apartment. Upon moving in, I couldn't get the bigger things up the stairs. A maintenace man showed up at my door and said that they were going to either trash or donate my unmoved items if I didn't move them by the morning. We got into a heated discussion about it, and he proceeded to attack me. He grabbed me and threw me to the floor, and proceed to to punch and kick me. I called the police and filed a report. I believe that Casa De Fuentes should be held responsible, but didn't press charges. I then caught Covid in February, and was trying to drive myself to the hospital. I was super dizzy, and ended up running into a couple cars by accident in the parking lot. I reparked my car and decided not to drive. I later called an ambulance. Because of this accident, the mananger told me I that I had to be out of the apartment by the end of March. So now I have been moved into an apartment that I didn't sign for, beaten up, and now kicked out because I had an accident while I was very sick. The apartment had numerous maintenance issues, including no blinds, a broken heater, closet and bathroom door broken, paint on the counter top, and a rain gutter hanging above the back porch. None of these aspects were addressed or fixed by Casa DE Fuentes, even after repeated requests.

The allegations being made against Casa De Fuentes Apartments are false allegations made by an
aggravated-now previous tenant who was served a 30-Day Notice for Cause due to breach of contract.
On March 2, 2022, resident was sent a Notice for Cause “Management is terminating your lease for
breach of contract and will expect apartment to be vacated, all items removed, cleaned and keys turned
in no later than March 31, 2022.” 30-Day Notice for Cause for most recent incident that occurred on
2/24/2022 in the parking lot of Casa De Fuentes.
Resident moved into Casa De Fuentes on December 25, 2021, and there were reports of drunken
misconduct from neighboring residents that same day he moved in.
On January 21, 2022, there was an apartment fire that happened in resident’s breezeway that caused
him to have to transfer into a different unit on-site or he could’ve chosen to be released from his lease
    agreement and move elsewhere.
We did transfer the resident into an apartment that we had available on the 2nd floor the same day as
the fire happened to not cause additional hardships as he chose to remain on-site and not move out due
to the fire that had just occurred.
The maintenance issues that the resident mentions were not taken care of because the resident relayed
to the office multiple times within his stay in his new apartment that he had COVID and therefore we
were not able to enter the apartment. The resident never notified management that he was free of
COVID or that he was feeling better in general. Management also stated any further communication
should be done electronically and via email for documentation purposes and to avoid
    miscommunications.
When resident was transferring his things into the new unit, there were some heavier items that he
could not get out of his old unit. We had contractors scheduled to start repairs in the fire breezeway
which included needing access to the resident’s apartment. We advised the resident that his items
needed to be removed from the apartment so that repairs could start. Resident was able to retrieve
some items from the apartment that was part of the fire and instead of him moving it into his
apartment, he put the items in the breezeway blocking the walking area and causing a fire hazard. We
advised resident that the items could not stay in the breezeway and needed to be removed
immediately. Resident was unable to get the items removed and our former maintenance technician
moved the items under the stairs so that it would not be blocking the walkway. According to multiple
witnesses in the breezeway that witnessed the incident, resident was being hostile and did lunge at the
former maintenance tech. According to our community officer with the ******** **** Police
Department, there was no police report filed by the resident after the incident for any wrongdoing.
On February 24, 2022, the office got a call from multiple residents stating that an intoxicated
man hit 3 vehicles in the parking lot near apartments 193-208. It was confirmed by the
residents that were impacted by his actions as well as with our community officer with
******** **** PD, that it was in fact the resident filing this complaint. The residents that
witnessed the incident stated that resident then fled the scene after striking the 3 vehicles.
There were police reports filed after the incident and they are as follows: Struck 3 vehicles and

fled scene while intoxicated which involved property damages to 3 vehicles, public intoxication,
and criminal activity with regards to fleeing the scene at time of incident.
It was also brought to managements attention by several residents there were concerns with regards to
“harassment and causing a nuisance”---concerned neighbors had reported that the resident was
continuously harassing them when they were coming in and out of the breezeway attempting to come
and go from their apartment, but could not do-so due to the resident blocking them at their door,
incoherently talking to them, discussing his alcoholism issues, marital issues and numerous other things
that did not concern them which made them very uncomfortable.
Court was set for April 21, 2022, and Casa De Fuentes was granted judgement and possession of the
    apartment.

    Sincerely,
    Casa De Fuentes Management
