    Terrible. Took 2 hours to get my order from 2 miles away when I couldn't leave my office. The restaurant had the order ready a hour before it was picked up and then the driver still made more stops along the way. No way to rate the driver or take the tip back the only option is to complain to the restaurant. I will never use Menufy again.

    Echoing a complaint from another user, they just took my payment for an order from a restaurant that I found to be permanently closed when I went to pick up my food.

    Use companies with their own drivers and actual skin in the game, not companies like Menufy and EatStreet. Menufy is a middleman service. They do not have their own drivers. It’s just software that they get restaurants to use with no live customer service when issues come up and when they do respond they display little willingness to “make it right” when issues happen with your order. Menufy orders get the lowest priority with the big-time players that they contract their deliveries to (Uber Eats, Doordash), which is why so many customers (myself included) have had multiple issues with orders taking forever, drivers not picking up orders then they show up cold, drivers going across town to drop off orders for customers that ordered from the actual platform that pays them and takes priority. If a restaurant only offers delivery through Menufy, just wait a bit. The large platforms that they use to deliver the orders you paid Menufy to have your order delivered through will start delivering from there soon. It’s not worth the headache. Buyer beware.

    They work with businesses that they know are no longer in business but still take your money for pick up and delivery. We asked for reimbursement and they told us to take it up with our bank.

    They picked up my order 40 minutes after the restaurant had it ready. So by the time it got to me it had been sitting in a bag over an hour. Cold and gross. I'm sick and couldn't go get my own food and ended up with really nasty food. If they can't get enough drivers they shouldn't offer the service. Big rip off.

In this instance, while the food was picked up within the quoted window, the delivery exceeded the estimated arrival time by 5 minutes. While delivery times are quoted based on estimated arrival from the restaurant, we recognize that unexpected delays can occur due to traffic or driver availability. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund for this order due to the delivery timeframe falling within our reasonable window.     Menufy.com RIPPED ME OFF! I placed an order online for a meal at a restaurant new to me. Menufy.com charged me $41.97 (plus sales tax and "service charge") for what would have cost only $25.50 (plus tax) had I ordered directly from the restaurant. I will NEVER place an order through Menufy.com again.

Menufy creates free and brand-focused online ordering websites at the request of our restaurant partners. Many of our restaurant partners chose our product because we are one of the few online ordering partners that give restaurants full control of their profits, menu prices, and service fees, unlike most 3rd party companies. For context, restaurant management sets all menu pricing, including extra toppings. Menufy has no part in deciding menu pricing. We do not upcharge online menu prices or keep a portion of the sale price either.Also, the $1.50 convenience fee covers the cost of our product features. Restaurant owners have the option to pass this fee to their customers instead of covering it themselves.     Finally got back to me 5 days later. I want to let any and all know to never use menufy to order through as you do not offer customer satisfaction guarantee. I was charged 4X at $36.77 = $145.76. Here was their email I received 5 days after I filed a complaint requesting the refunds. Hello, This is Menufy Support, we handle the online ordering for ******'S TACO SHOP and this email is in regards to your online order from the restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been unresponsive after multiple attempts to contact them about your order. Because this restaurant uses a special billing system that handles all online transactions internally, we are unable to revert any charges from our end. The ************ left are to try contacting the restaurant yourself to ask for a refund, or you can file a chargeback with your credit card company.     Hello,We apologize for the technical issue you encountered during your recent online order. It is unusual to have duplicate charges, and we are sorry for the frustration caused by this. The double charge was likely caused by a technical issue with the restaurant's point of sale system, which caused an error with Menufy online ordering. After you reported a delayed response from our support team, we looked into our communication records. There, we found that one of our reps contacted you on the same day as your initial request. In this communication, a rep said they would initiate the refund process by contacting the restaurant to authorize your refund request. Gaining refund approval from our restaurant partners is standard procedure because, unlike many other services, all online order profits belong to the restaurants, not Menufy. However, our team could not make contact after numerous attempts to call and email the restaurant in question over the following days. Our inability to contact the restaurant may have been due to the July 4th holiday.Because we are only able to ***** refunds with the restaurant's permission and because they use a separate point-of-sale system that we cannot access, we regretfully are unable to move forward with your request. We suggest contacting your bank or financial institution to assist further. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and hope you continue supporting local restaurants.
