I am writing to caution people to not deal with Shull Remodeling and Construction in Salina KS. I contacted Shull in August 2024 about a job, gutter work on my house. I signed a contract with them in early September, paid the amount and the work was done. I notified Shull that my gutters weren’t draining properly, were leaking and dirt was already accumulating. Eventually I filed a small claims court action against them on November 5. We went to court and they agreed to fix the problems. They came and worked on the gutters but did not rectify the problem. We returned to court on January 7, 2025. Shull did not appear and judgment was made in my favor to return the original amount contracted. Three days after the judgment Shull filed a lien against my home! The judge had ruled against them but Shull went behind the judge’s back and kept fighting for me to pay them for bad work that will have to be completely re-done. As of now I am waiting to take further action. Again – beware of Shull Remodeling and Construction!! Ray H

The contracts we execute are fairly simple. We agree on a price, we do the work, and the customer pays us. We have over 400 happy customers in 2024 alone. Mr. Hernandez has been hostile from the time our workers showed up to do the work. It is clear that it was his intention to never pay from the beginning.Review from Laurie O.

We are well aware of us owing final payment on work. We were to receive final inspection on work completed before final payment. The garage door does not work correctly and the braces on the garage door frame were split clear through. I, (the owner of Shull Construction) personally oversaw installation of the garage door. Everything was installed correctly, tested multiple times, and was working phenomenally, until weeks later when apparently some damage occurred to the rail. Our technician was immediately dispatched and documented the damage. It appears as though it has been bumped into by a car or damaged with a pry bar.Customer Response

we reported the frame one the inside of the garage door that the rails are attached to was split in 3 places, the screws used to attach were too long. it was reported to the "technician" and he said it would be ok. Also one of the sensors was broken when it was installed, No vehicle bumped the door nor was a pry bar taken to it. The owner of business couldnt have come and inspected the damage unless we were home to open the door which makes so much noise . the wrap that was installed to outside of door is not cut properly and is coming off already. Some of the siding installed on house was cut with a very worn blade and there are jagged edges. Ryan never came to house so we could show him the stuff we werent happy with.Review from Nancy D
