Unfortunately, I purchased 3 english walnut poviticas as Christmas gifts. One for me in Albany, NY, one for my brother in Wilmer, TX and one for my friend in Honolulu, HI. I was unable to place the order on-line because of the different delivery addresses, at least this was my understanding. So, I called in to place the order. For whatever reason, this company transposed the names and starting referring to me as Sue. My friend in HI. Interesting enough they charged my credit card that had the right name of the purchaser. I was quoted a shipping price for HI that as it turned out was not the shipping price that I was billed. I learned this when I got my credit card statement. I send a lot of products to my friend in HI. I know that shipping to HI is often more expensive. I do not have a problem with paying the higher shipping costs to HI. I just wanted to see the itemized bill for the shipments. I requested via e-mail the itemized bills from the company twice, on February 2, 2024 and on February 10, 2024. To date, I have not received copies of the bills. I wanted to place a review of this issue where others can see it. Yesterday, I went on the company's website and asked where can I publish a review. I do not get involved with social media at all. So, it was not at all possible for me to post a review on any of the company's social media accounts. I received an e-mail back which called me Sue, I politely said, one of my issues with this company is that I have told you several times that I am not Sue. The response that came back was, "Ok. SO, that means you placed an online order and mixed up the billing and the shipping. That was not an error on our end. I apologize." As I explained above this is not what happened. This response from the company was very rude, disrespectful, completely inaccurate and very unprofessional. The communication went south from there with me using curse words. I then get an e-mail asking about the service, I responded. Today, I get another e-mail asking about the service. This is now harassment, pure and simple.

Usually, I would try to assist and diagnose any situation. In this case, I can see that you MAY BE MENTALLY UNSTABLE, I might suggest you seek the help of friends, family or, at least a medical professional. Your abuse has to be unwarranted; we sell pastry, for gosh sake. Going through life this angry is NOT healthy.

Let's agree to part ways. I kindly ask that you refrain from contacting us again. If you need to VENT or abuse, you may call me directly at *************

FROM: ****** ****** **** ****** ****** *** ****** ********** ***** *** ********** **** **** **** ******** **** ******** ****** **** ********* ******* I was sent a cake/pastry from my older brother and his wife from this company. Due to it trying to be a surprise, I was not given any prior notice of its arrival. After it was delivered to my front, I did not see it for some time because I do not enter my house through the front door. Instead, I enter my house through the basement garage, which is in the basement of my house which is in the back of the house. Finally, when I did discover it, it had been sitting on my front door step for at least a day. It sat out on cement in the baking San Diego, California sun. When I went to try it, it did not taste good. In order to get a replacement cake, I called several times Strawberry Cake and I spoke with *****, who was not helpful. Then, I spoke with ******** who was not helpful either. All I was requesting was to get a replacement cake. What can I do given this situation? **** ** ******
