This business charged my credit card for nights I did not stay there. I started 4 nights and paid with a separate credit card. They charged that credit card and the credit card that had on file, WHICH WAS THE WRONG CARD AND I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THAT CHARGE. I was charged $511.78 fraudulently and I have contacted the hotel, the manager is who I have to speak with but he is always out of town and the desk clerk can't discuss this issue with me. The charge was made under fraud, and I was charged with both cards. My credit card company suggested I file a complaint with the merchant. I tried to do so, but can't because the manager is never there. We rented the room under my fiance's name, and they charged that card. Also, they charged my first savings card as well. Both cards are in my name.

    Business response

    04/21/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/29) */ The business gave a 7 night discount due to the amount of days she was staying. The consumer checked out 4 days, leaving 3 days not used. The 7 night package 511.78. If the consumer only stayed 4 nights, the rates would be different. The consumer was aware of that. The rate would have been $100 a night without the package. The consumer filed a dispute with they card, but the investigation was ruled in the business' favor. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/03/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The room rates were only 97.00 per night. It was under the agreement if I checked out sooner than 7 days, I would be reimbursed the remaining amount. The owner/manager is never there to speak with, as I have tried. They charged 2 separate credit cards that belong to me for the stay in question. I have filed a fraud complaint with my credit card company, as the business charged both cards. One being under my name ******* ****** and under ******** ******* all the same stay for room 108. I keep getting told by this business that the owner has to issue the refund, then I get told the owner sold the business, and whoever owns it now is always out of town. Its fraudulent charges and I have taken further legal action.
