I purchased a 2020 Harley Davidson sport glide on 23 June from the second day I owned it the engine light was on taken back to the shop to examine they turn the light off but admitted that they hadn’t really done anything they just wanted to see if it would come back on when it came back on after the weekend They offered to come and pick it up picked it up took it to the shop did a diagnostic O2 sensor seem to be the issue they said they did the repairs I picked it up and as soon as I got it home the engine light was back on again they came back a second time and pick the bike up did a full diagnostic even put it on the Dino machine and I picked it up before I got home the engine light was on again I documented three of those events and the third time fourth time I called them and I took it back out there and I left it and they now have the motorcycle in their possession with an engine light code whatever in the computer and they are not trying To replace the motorcycle with something that is functioning properly I only on the motorcycle for weeks this past Tuesday excuse me this past Thursday there is no way that I can continue in a five-year relationship with extremely high payments and an extremely high amount of money for the ownership of that motorcycle forward to just be sitting out front the decent thing to do minus the business thing to do is to just replace it and because I’m flexible I’m willing to even take an older model continue paying the same amount of money over the same amount of time equal it $20,000 I will continue to pay that I’ve already made one payment Getting my money back for the down payment is not my goal my goal is to have a different motorcycle that I can count on

    Whom it concerns,

In response to ******* ********** claim, his motorcycle did indeed need both CO2 sensors replaced.  The previous customer added performance parts that required tuning that was not completed.  We completed this work with zero cost to Mr ********.

He claimed his light came on a third time, but upon arrival, his light was NOT on, nor were there historic codes showing any issue with his motorcycle. It is a very nice low mileage motorcycle.

We offered to give Mr ******** what he paid for the motorcycle (knowing it's a very nice bike and that we'd sell it again, and to try and appease him) on trade so he would not incur any additional expense.  That offer still stands today.  Due to his credit worthiness, the bank requires a minimum of 10% down and Mr ******** doesn't feel he should have to participate.  We then told him if he could secure financing else where, we'd be happy to still extend the offer.

I understand that Mr ******** is frustrated, but Bluegrass Harley-Davidson has fulfilled and exceeded our obligations to make Mr ******** happy and to ensure he has a safe and operational motorcycle. In addition to that, we offered to give him what he paid on trade.  His motorcycle is fine, as I have personally ridden it myself after his second complaint.

    Thanks
