The location and buildings are fine. The manager is too stern and very arrogant. I was not given a copy of the lease whenever I got the apartment. The lights in the kitchen were not working and I couldn’t see anything in there. It took them over a weekend and half to replace the bulbs after several calls. She kept telling me to leave them on for a while because sometimes they need to warm up after telling her the switch was on when I looked at it and that wasn’t the problem. The window sills had black mold around them and after the light was changed I noticed all the mold on cabinets in the kitchen which I have photos of. The inside of cabinets and drawers were filthy. The stove had not been cleaned properly and there was wads of paper towels underneath it which I don’t know how it didn’t catch fire. There was mold around the seals on the refrigerator and a lot of dirt underneath it also. I don’t know why I didn’t see the amount of feces on the commode and wall behind it when I looked at the bathroom but after a week and a half the maintenance man removed the old seat and partially cleaned the commode. There was also black mold around molding and floor in the bathroom. I cleaned all of the problems but ended up with one of the worst sinus infections ever and called to explain to her I wasn’t going to be able to stay there. She tried to tell me it was because of all the grass cutting they had to do at that time of year. I gave her a written 30 day notice however she would not give me my deposit back. I feel she was wrong for that. I don’t think she has the right to be in the position she holds due to all her health issues because she is neglecting her duties.
