  On 9-23-22 ****** was urinating blood. On 10-15-22 during the physical examination, *** **** pushed hard on her urethra which caused her to immediately yelp out in pain. No one can feel struvite crystals bare handed, why wasn't a urinalysis suggested? Ever since then, ****** has not squat like normal to eliminate yet urinates as if she is a male cat, spraying up in the air. On 2-27-23 I called their office to have this issue resolved. After speaking to several staff members, there was no resolution. Dr. Kings attempt did not resolve her issue, only a planned obsolescence. They're doing their customers and further more the animals a disservice by not having proper equipment or tools to utilize and causing further harm. If you pushed her urethra up, why can't you push her urethra back down? I want the $132.50 back via check, to take her to a facility that will do a proper examination, urinalysis and correct this new ongoing issue. Do not trust Iroquois Animal Clinic or *** **** to care for your pets. It's a quick money grab business, take your beloved pets elsewhere.

  To Whom It May Concern:

  I saw a  five year old spayed female cat belonging to *** ********* one time on 10/15/2022.  Her complaint was bloody urine with a previous history of urinary problems. I palpated the bladder to make sure the cat was not blocked and  the cat was patent.  I administered a 10 day injectable antibiotic for a urinary tract infection. I did nothing to the urethra.  You cannot push up or down the urethra.  From her letter it appears that the cat is now marking territory by spraying on the walls.  The owner has multiple animals.  Most likely she is dealing with a behavior problem at this time.

  I will not refund her money.  We will not see *** ********* now or every again.

  I am rejecting this response because: After *** **** pushed up on her back side, that's what has caused her to now spray when she used to squat. It is not a behavioral issue.

  To Whom It May Concern:

  I expressed the bladder to insure the cat was not blocked.  The cat was patent.  Her behavior is classic marking territory.  The behavior will most likely continue.
