    I have been living in these apts since Sept of 2021, and the entire time I have lived here the AC does not work!!! My thermostat always reads 77-82 degrees inside my apt, that I pay for air conditioning. Every time I call they come out “flush” the system and it never makes it cooler in here. In Louisville we have suffered from 105-115 heat index, the weather announces on their weather station, weather app, that there is a HEAT ADVISORY, stay indoors, use extra precautions…but our air, every unit, except the unit that has the main office/rental office NEVERRRR WORKS. And I am saying this as an almost 2 yr resident at this location. My neighbors have infants, animals, HUMANS that live and pay for AIR and every single day our apts are 80 degrees. It is not only inhumane but also a scam/robbery on what we pay for each month to receive no ac!!! WE NEED THE AC THAT WE PAY FOR EACH MONTH, we pay for air and should be able to comfortably in our apts that WE PAY FOR EACH MONTH!!

    To Whom It May Concern,

    This letter is in response to the complaint filed by ***** ******** regarding the air conditioning unit in her apartment.  Please note, we just received the above listed complaint in the mail on 8/15/22.  Included with this complaint was a fax cover sheet that was dated 7/25/22 and appeared to have been sent to us by fax, however, we did not receive a fax from the BBB concerning this complaint.

    Upon review of Ms. ********’s complaint, we located one work order regarding her air conditioner not working properly in her file, it was dated 5/25/22.  Our maintenance staff went to her apartment on 5/25/22 and again on 5/26/22 to inspect her air conditioning unit and replaced a valve on the unit.  The air conditioning was working properly when maintenance completed this repair and we had not been notified by Ms. ******** since this repair, in regards to her air conditioner not working properly.

    On August 15, 2022, immediately upon receipt of the complaint from Ms. ********, our Property Manager (****** ****) called her to see if maintenance could access to her unit in order to inspect her A/C unit.  Ms. **** was told by Ms. ******** that her air was working fine and stated she was just angry when she filed the complaint to the BBB due to the fact that she had been working outside in the heat when the heat index was over 100 degrees and didn’t feel her apartment was cool enough when she got home from work.  Ms. ******** stated to Ms. **** that her A/C was working good now and it was not necessary for us to send maintenance to her apartment.

    We appreciate Ms. ********’s tenancy and informed her not to hesitate in contacting us in the future if she has any maintenance issues or concerns with her apartment.
