I was told originally that my tattoos would be $800 in total no more than that. I go in and get them done, she speeds through them hurrying and doing stuff I didn’t ask for, I go to check out and she asked for $150 more so right then I gave her that because I had ** ******** to pick up and the price didn’t seem right since I made she it pay in advance to the appointment I have receipts to show proof of that they were paid for in advance to the appointment and after I tried to just ask ******* why it was more than we talked about and she was very disrespectful. Then I preceded to ask for my refund of the $150 because I noticed I had a couple spots she didn’t do and didn’t finish it all the way like it was suppose to and didn’t wanna go back to her to get it redone since she was very rude to me. She finally was gonna send the money to me and I told her to keep the $50 for a tip just to be nice and for doing it, then she didn’t send it so I texted the next morning wanting the whole $150 she refused and said she didn’t care if it was legal or not she was keeping it. Called me out of my name and posted slander on ******** of false claims. Again I have all screenshots of our messages and she even blocked me on ******** so I couldn’t defend myself from the lies that prove wrong in my photos I have. She made me look like a terrible person and come to find out MANY people have had the same issue against her. I wanna help stop her from putting anyone else through this.

    Business response

    03/28/2022

Response to complaint ID of ********

    To whom this may concern

    On the date of March 17 2022, ******* White tattooed ******* ***.
Before her appointment ******* consulted with ******* twice before her appointment date. The first consult was over finishing her upper arm and adding Four names. Hand written names the client had provided for the artist. They spoke over the price saying it would be $500-$600 more. It was an estimate. She never had anything wrote down or spoken about it being a flat rate of $800.
With that being stated and said, she came back for a second consultation to add another tattoo. This tattoo is fairly large and takes up most of her front thigh. She was told in person that the size of it would be around $200-$300.
******* put in her notes that ******* had put down $700 for her arm, and owed $250 for her thigh.
On the date of March 17th 2022, ******* comes in and gets both her thigh and arm completed. The client looks at the stencil before any work in started and okays everything.
******* looks at her notes when checking out *******, and sees that it says she owes $250, ******* only charged her $150 that day. So ******* got $950 to finish her arm, add four hand written names, and a large thigh tattoo..
Before she leaves, ******* ask if she likes everything. ******* says yes. We have other clients and artist, that witness how happy she seemed when she left.

Two hours later, she texts *******, asking about pricing.
This is not the first time she has questioned prices. So ******* replies, in a defensive manner, kindly asking if she doesn't think it's worth the money.
******* then says she was over charged and didn't mean to come off that way.
It was decided ******* was going to send her $150 through cash app from her personal account.
Everything was fine then. ******* even said to keep $50 for a tip. So just to send $100
******* is an employee and gets paid weekly. She was waiting until she got her paycheck to send the funds personally.

******* wakes up to a message stating " Actually just send me the whole $150 because you don't want to send it, and I don't trust you."

******* then says " I was waiting until I got paid, to send you your money"
Which would have been that evening of March 18, 2022.
******* said "I don't trust you, I want it back"

******* was going to send her personal money to this client, if she came into the shop and asked for a refund, she would have gotten it instantly. Because that is where the register is.

******* then lost patience with this client and exchanged a few unkindly words with her.
This is when ******* sends her photos of where ******* missed a couple petals to shade in on the elbow area. After tattooing five plus hours, sometimes things can be overlooked. This is why we ask each client before they leave if everything is fine. Which she was asked and she stated everything is great.

******* failed to tell ******* about the missing petals until after ******* lost patience and did not want to wait even 24 hours for ******* to send her money through her personal account.
If she would have told her this before ******* would have told her to come back in that morning to do what wasn't done.
Just like with any client in the past, any artist would have done that.

******* made a post on ********.. this post did not say any names or even have a picture of the person, or even where she was located. No false claims of slander was made from *******.
She was posting about her experience with a client she had to fire on her personal ********.
After ******* is told to come to the business to get her refund she refuses to come in.

******* then makes a post tagging the shop, which houses other artist.
She made ******* out to be a scam artist. Which is not the case, this post then had ******* and other members of ******** tag each artist and the business page itself. Slandering everyone's name, even things that did not pertain to the business or issue itself.

From there, **** *****, the owner of Hooded Crow
Messages her, apologizing for any miscommunications that could have happened, and defending the artist and business he has. He also sends her $150 through the shop account to her personal cash app. Which she accepted.

Attachments are records of this being settled. And ******* accepting the payment.
