During the construction of my house Darrell (owner) met me at the build and we walked through cameras and home audio pre wiring. During this time I was provided an estimate to complete the job. I was only required to pay a deposit but due just to get this off my plate I paid in full. When the techs came out to pre wire they mounted electrical boxes to the studs above the doors with the speaker wire. After sheetrock it was determined the boxes were out on the wrong side of the studs and were not centered. Technicians had to come back out and correct the location and the Sheetrock had to be fixed. During the final install the technicians came out and did not have a saw to cut the holes for the ceiling speakers on the patio. The technicians had to come back once again with the proper tools to cut the holes for the speakers. After moving in the technicians once again came back to set up the cameras and complete the final set up of the ***** system. The technician transferred the Sonos account to me after setting up and left. Shortly after leaving I attempted to use the ***** system and it was not working. I called ***** and learned the technician didn’t complete the transfer of the account and without his email and password it would be difficult to set up. I called Wired for life and they said the technician could not come back. I ended up spending 6 hours on the phone with ***** tech support to fix the issue and give me control of my account. After completion I received a second invoice for roughly $100. To avoid dealing with these people anymore I just sent in a check. Then I received a third invoice for an additional $240. I spoke with the office and received a bunch of excuses and no clear explanation of what this charge is for. Long story short stay away from this company. It’s been nothing but a headache dealing with themselves

I used *** alarm services for a dozen years. Switched to WFL and had glass break false alarms, and smoke detector issues. They were not able to resolve them, and blamed the issues on my dogs, and the location of the components that THEY installed. Door bell camera was so slow that Package delivery companies were leaving before the WiFi connected and I could communicate with them. This equipment is touted as state of the art. lol. Cheap Chinese junk. I have canceled their services and gone back to ***. Owner stated he was formerly affiliated with *** in some respect. I dont remember the details but he bad mouthed *** and told me how old and antiquated my equipment was…. Strange how *** never had the issues they couldn’t even solve. And of course it was my fault…. Beware

First, I would like to respond with an apology that this issue was not resolved. Wired For Life strives to keep great relationships with our customers and would love to have been given the chance to resolve this issue. As *** ******** mentioned in is complaint, one smoke detector and a glass break detector were causing false alarms. As our tech support confirmed, the placement was an issue due to the dogs barking and their hair. There are signed service tickets where this was explained to *** ******** and he acknowledged that he understood. Technicians offered to move both, for no charge, and *** ******** declined. The smoke detector was close to a room with two large German Shepherds, and the hair was causing the smoke detector to clog the alarm off. The glass break was inside the room with the dogs, the barking was causing false alarms. It was explained to *** ********, before installation, that the placement of the glass break could cause an issue. As a small business, we take pride in the equipment that we install and also the customer service we provide.

It took them 3 visits over a month to get my ring doorbell and camera operational. Finally on the third visit they get it operational. Two days later after I have paid for two months for my alarm and camera, I get a bill for $$75.00. I called the owner asking why I was charged an additional $75.00 after I already paid two months for service. He told me it was my phones fault! I’m not the expert in their field, they are! So how am I responsible their lack of knowledge! They should know to turn off my VPN!!

Unfortunately, *** ***** stood our technicians up twice without a phone call. When we were able to meet, on the third time, *** ***** had additional security on his phone. We are experts in the equipment that we install, not in cellular devices. Also, he was extremely happy with the equipment and services until he received a service charge bill. Apologies for any misunderstanding, but if two technicians are sent out multiple times, a service charge does get billed. We stand by our employees and equipment and apologize for any inconvenience.
