            On 5/20/24 an employee of this company came to my home to fix a small condensation leak that my mini split had because I wanted to put down new floor. The guy came in and we asked if he wanted us to turn breaker off but he said no. Then for around 5-10 minutes he kept jerking on the unit and saying it’s supposed to pop up.I said maybe it has screws which he then realized and removed he took the entire housing off and left it hanging to run to his truck to get shop vac to clean out the tray then he was screwing it back together with the flap that lowers stuck up in it I pointed this out and he corrected that we turned on and paid him $100 and he left and we turned off unit next time turned on all these crazy error codes flashed so turned breaker off sent out another man and he couldn’t figure out what it was after being on phone so says will call me next day when they call they say the outside part of unit went bad And I had to buy new one owner said he talked to first guy and he lied so we couldn’t come to a resolution I had to pay almost $1000 for new unit and that unit only had condensation leak I got another company to put in the new unit and they said working on it with the breaker on was what was the likelihood of the unit going bad I had to pay $400 to get it installed The owner of Foster Mechanical took no responsibility for this. He didn’t want to realize that the inexperienced and rushed worker they sent out messed up
