- Additional Info:On November 2, 2018, BBB started an investigation into David Beckham's Realty Executives Bayou Properties business practices. This investigation was prompted by a report inquiry from a consumer on November 1, 2018 stating that the business had mailed the consumer a fake check and the scammer was requesting personal information about the consumer.
On November 5, 2018, it was confirmed by the owner of the business and that he was aware that his business had been scammed and several duplicate checks were mailed out in a phishing scam. The business informed the BBB that he had already contacted his bank to inform them that a check he had used to buy merchandise was being duplicated and mailed out to unexpected consumers to defraud them.
