    Broken Cooktop On February 7, 2022 Brinks Construction LLC was dispatched by Old Republic Home Warranty Company to repair a suspected electrical issue with a GE 32" cooktop located at the ***** home. The Brinks Repairman in an effort to repair the cooktop bent the cooktop which made the cooktop not available for safe usage. This man concluded that it was not an electrical problem it was an appliance issue. Old Republic then transferred this to another appliance company. On February 9, 2022 Another Contractor came out to repair the cooktop at the ***** residence. The Contractor repairman said that the issue was not with the cooktop, it was a problem with the breaker not producing enough voltage to the cooktop. The Repairman went on to state that the cooktop was now bent and will have to be replaced as it will no longer lay flat. At this point the cooktop was no longer safe to operate. Old Republic transferred this to another electrical company. On February 15, 2022 A company who deal with electrical came out and repaired the breaker box which was the actual problem. He informed the ***** that although the stove light came on he would not recommend the use of the stove due to the damage of the stove. From the time Brinks employee broke the stove the ***** did notified Old Republic regarding this matter. March 2, 2022 Brinks Construction's Owner (Mr. ****) sent his senior technician to see if the cooktop could possibly be repaired. The Senior Technician took pictures and FaceTime Mr. **** and both gentlemen came to the conclusion that the cooktop would have to be replaced. Mr. **** accepted responsibility for the damaged cooktop and said he would replace cooktop. Mr. **** has stopped answering any calls from the *****' and Old Republic. Old Republic provided Brinks Construction's insurance company (Nationwide) to the *****. Nationwide informed the ***** on April 25, 2022 that Mr. **** is not insured for this type of incident (Appliances).
