On October 5th, 2023, O'neal Gas located at 3452 Highway 145, Choudrant, LA 71227, came to install a propane tank on my property. while doing so, the technician hit the main power line from the pole to the house. I spoke with ***** ***** of O'Neal Gas and he recommended Albritton electric to fix the damage. He also stated that the electric line was not marked by 811. I have contacted 811 and they said Claiborne electric would not mark that line as it is considered property of the homeowner. However, 811 stated they have a list of companies that will mark utilities for contractors on their web site to avoid these situations. O'neal Gas is claiming that the damage is not their fault and leaving me to pay the repair bill. I am attaching receipt and work order from Albritton electric. Also the Louisiana one call report where it shows O'Neal gas started before all utilities had been marked. Wesley chapel water had not marked their lines yet. I believe Oneal gas was negligent while providing service to my residence.

We used this company for a year, it was hard to get them to deliver gas so we canceled our services with them. We called and told them we were moving to another company in March of 2022. Almost a year later in November they delivered gas while no one was home. We called and explained and they stated they would pick up the gas. Two months later they haven't picked up the gas and now claim we never canceled. The owner called personally and was rude and advised he would just send it to collections. They refuse to collect their gas and are trying to force me to pay for a service I didn't not ask for. I'm not the first person this has happened to, and I doubt I'm the last.
