I had oral surgery preformed at the Louisiana Dental Center on 6/29/2022. Before the surgery was done I submitted proof of both my insurance companies. The dental center then provided me with paperwork showing what my insurance company would pay vs my portion. I was told that they had gotten approval from my insurance company so I agreed to get the work done. Now Im getting bills and when I called to see why, they said my insurance has paid all they will pay and Im responsible for $502.00. I found out from my insurance company that the claim was declined because the surgery was laser assisted and the Louisiana Dental Center had never gotten any approval from my insurance company like they told me they did. When I called to discuss they were very ugly in talk and stated that thats it you owe it. Its totally unfair. How can they get away with telling me that they got approval when the insurance company says they never even sent in to get approval? I would have never agreed to get the work done had I known they hadnt gotten approval and I would have to pay the entire cost for the surgery out of pocket. I have two insurance companies to help protect from outrageous out of pocket costs. I would have never agreed to that had I known. I have copies of the paperwork that they gave me before any work was done as well as the last bill that they sent me. Would you please help me in resolving this problem? Im getting nowhere with *****/***** in billing. All they will say is you owe it. They wont even acknowledge the fact that they gave me a printout and stated they had gotten approval. Things are bad out here for hard working people. *********** Professional should not be treating their patients in this manner.P.S. I was seen at the office in *******,** ******************************************************************************* *************
