            I hired *** ********** with Sams Ourdoor Service LLC on 3/1/23 to do some cleanup on my property. Later found out she is not listed with an LLC either with the board of contractors. I have a row of large azaleas on either side of my driveway that was supposed to be cleaned up and trimmed which she stated would take 5 days starting on 3/5/23 in the amount of $1250 to complete which I paid $1000. Up front. It was something every day starting with the first day with equipment problems which she left and never returned that day. I have a summary of each day starting and ending times plus video of the work done. On that Wednesday I expressed that I felt she would have to work with the weekend or the next week to makeup for the time that was missed being they only worked 2-3 hours and quit. She ASSURED me that the work would get completed. On that Friday she asked for the rest of the money $250 because she needed to pay her people. After my husband and I told her that they have not even completed a 1/4 of the job she said it was out of her control that things happen on a job with equipment and such but I needed to pay her for that day. She stated they would work until 2pm and I could pay her more to come finish the job. I reluctantly paid the $250 but as soon as I did I had to leave. As soon as I left she packed up and left the job without doing any more work leaving me a complete mess. I do have a timeline and video to prove everything I am saying. So I sent her a text and asked for $600 back since less than a 1/4 of one side was done but she has not responded after a week from the text. My file is too large to send on this complaint but can provide everything.
