Very shady tactics with suckering customers into 5 yr contracts. They say they try to reach out to you (doesn’t happen) to discuss the small monthly increase. Then a contract that they slip in which locks you into 5 year commitment. If someone was confident in the service they provided, they wouldn’t need to try and deceive customers like this. What they provide would speak for itself and people wouldn’t want to switch. Or at the very least be smaller duration contracts. But I guess that’s what happens when companies hide behind contracts just to ensure money coming in, instead of focusing on what’s right and taking care of those they service

They are crooks. We are moving out of the area and they say we signed a new contract in 2022 when they choose to upgrade our system. We were told we needed the upgrade. We didn’t request it. They want us to pay til 2025. They said we can get contract at new house but they won’t service new house in Bluffton SC

If a customer has entered into an agreement with us the agreement has to be fulfilled, We offer to transfer the service. We can offer service in all 50 states. This option was offered to the customer and we never heard back from her.

Up until last year, I had my alarm company set up on monthly auto draft. I changed bank accounts sometime in 2022 and tried to set up my alarm payment from my new bank account.. They were supposed to send me a form to fill out an update my account information. I did not return the form. I called today to pay my past due balance and see how to cancel my service since it is not used. I was informed that I was in a contract and my account was deactivated. I do not remember signing a contract so they sent me a copy. I called and asked to pay my past due balance and to continue to be billed monthly until the end of my contract and I would return the form for autodraft. I was told that I could not do that until I signed a new agreement. The new agreement was for 60 months, So I could either pay my account in full of the past due balance plus the remainder of the contract or sign a new 60 month contract. I paid my past due balance plus the remainder of the contract to be done with them but it is a scam to make me sign a new agreement just to be able to complete my current contract.

What was actually offered was a discount on the past due balance to zero out the old contract and start fresh with a new agreement locking her into her current rate to guarantee no rate increase for 60 months. The customer originally agreed to this, signed the new contract, sent it back and then changed her mind and paid out the old contract to cancel her services all together.

Abolutely not true. I continually asked to pay my past due balance and to set up auto draft to continue my current contract and to be able to cancel when it expired in 2024. I was told they would not reinstate my current contract unless I signed an agreement to set up auto draft. Instead the agreement was a new 60 month contract. Once I realized it was a new contract, I immediately canceled and paid out my current contract since they would not allow me to pay my current contract monthly.

    Buyer Beware!
Certified can't monitor my home, I been with them since 2012. My equipment is old so to get upgraded I need to pay over $400 and sign a 3 year contract. Note I have been billed at least two months for an inoperable system. So I ask to closed the account. They are charging me for two additional months, calling it a processing fee. And the will not close the account until it is paid.
FYI- ***** gave me the exact sales pitch he gave me ten years ago . I did not fall for it this time.

What a rip off Do not use this company!

The reason we can not monitor your home anymore is because of the 3G sunset, which is beyond our control. We only need to upgrade your communicator to make the system report to our central station again. I believe there is some miscommunication and something is not being fully understood as to why your system needs to be upgraded. If you would like to reach out to us for a better explanation, please feel free to do so. This review is not exactly accurate and I would be happy to give you the full details for you to understand the situation better. Thank you for your prior business, ***** ******
