We purchased our new Camper at the Tanner, AL store. The sales team was good, but during financing we were pressured into signing up for additional warranties after being told we could "easily cancel later if we changed our minds". Ultimately this camper is not a good fit for us and we are reselling. We wanted to remove the warranties and contacted the dealer to do so in late December 2024. To date, our lender STILL has not been issued any refund checks even though we were told the checks "were cut". There is a timeframe to get the entire amount back and we feel they are purposefully dragging their feet. We call regularly and do not get connected, nor do we get any calls back. Thank you for the review and we apologize that this process was not explained thoroughly, as it typically does take at least thirty days to process. Your extended warranty was canceled on the date you requested; from that point we have to wait on the company that issued the warranties to provide us with the amount of the refund before we can cut the check. We contacted you this morning and provided you with the FedEx tracking number that is being sent to your lien holder. We purchased a brand new camper from Great American RV SuperStores - Breaux Bridge. Since the first week bringing it home, we have had problems. The dealership kept pushing us off until we brought it to them to access the damage. It has major water damage that gets worse every time it rains, black mold, and needs several repairs. Since leaving the dealership, they have not contacted us about fixing it. We have to call just for no one to answer.It has been 3 months since we brought it up there with no contact back are any information. The floors are starting to rot. We pay extra for the warranty every month. Also, Heartland, who built the RV is not contacting us about it either. We've reached out to them and Great American RV.When we reach out to heartland they tell us they are wanting on grate American rv and when we call grate American rv they tell us they are wanting on heartland.Are camper was most definitely leaking before we purchased it we just couldn't tell because it was leaking underneath the floor from the slide out. They keep telling me that it's going to be fixed but we're in 10 months now of this problem and still nothing at this point we don't even want it fixed because it's not fixable at this point, we just want them to take the RV back.Also both p-traps for the sink in the kitchen and the one for the shower was not connected and caused order damage under the sink in the kitchen and flood it underneath the camper of the shower because we had no idea it was leaking. We have lots of pictures and videos of all the damage at one point we had 3" of water in our bedroom when we first found out that the slide outs were leaking. And that is with the slide outs sucked all the way in. It is a major possibility that it pass the point of fixing!!!! I know they probably nothing to come back with some response to why this is are fault but there is not reason why we should have this many problems with a new camper and nothing be done about it!!!!Great American RV Superstores Response

Thank you for your review and we apologize for your experience. We have been working with the manufacturer since October when you brought your unit to be diagnosed. Unfortunately, we cannot order parts or begin repairs until the manufacturer approves the work under warranty. We have been told that the manufacturer has reached out to you, as well as our Regional Director of Fixed Operations, who explained this process. We are working with the manufacturer to get the needed approvals, and will update you as we progress.Review from Joseph K

After sale service is awful at best. Our first time using them under the one year warranty cost us THREE MONTHS of Waiting, and it was returned with a serious problem. This year we took it in under the extended warranty, we purchased at the time of sale. It has been 34 days and NOT repaired yet. Communication is lacking and is only slightly better than their planning, for example 6 days ago they were waiting for a price on RF hub now they are waiting for a price on a seat belt 6 days latter!! My advice RUN don't WALK away from this dealership.Great American RV Superstores Response

Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the extended delay. We mistakenly sent the parts request/approval to the Manufacturer, under the original 1-year warranty. Once we realized our error, we submitted to NAC under your extended warranty, which has been approved and will be installed upon arrival.

I had an appointment at the Defuniak Springs center and my rig was taken in right on time! My service consultant ********* ******* kept me informed throughout the process and reviewed my warranty inspection with me. We stopped in ro the Calera, Al. location. We were greeted with a very friendly staff. Our salesman ****** ******* was so helpfull, he listened to us and helped us find exactly what we were looking for. ***** ******, the sales manager came in to answer any questions we had. Service technician came in and explained the process. Preped our unit for delivery to us and went into very detailed explanation of how everything workeed and how to do it ourselves. Complete experience was top notch. Thank you to the entire team at the Calera location. If you are looking, I recomend you stop by and meet the team.Great American RV Superstores Response

We bought a brand new Grand Design trailer and they had to fix a couple of things before we pulled it off the lot. The dust cover on one of the wheel covers was off so they said they fixed it. Also, they said they would mail me some decals that were messed up and had to be ordered. The dust cover was off again by the time we got home. So, a few weeks later I made an appointment to go by and get it fixed and was told they would order decals to put on that were messed up when we bought it since they never got ordered to send to me. At that appointment I was told the wrong decals came in for it. I told the service manager that I wanted a new wheel hub instead of it just being fixed again, which wasn't working. The hub probably cost them $5 to $10. He said they replaced the hub cover. I drove 30 miles and, guess what? The cover was off again which means they just put it back instead of a new hub cover. I called just a couple of hours after we left to tell him what happened and when he returned my call, he said they had locked up the warehouse and he would call me the next day to let me know if they had one in stock and I never heard back from him. I was also told that they would send the decals to me for me to put on which I'm almost sure I will never see. You can never get anyone on the phone that you need to talk to. They always have to take a message and get someone to return your call which isn't right away. I hate being lied to!!!Great American RV Superstores Response

Because your unit is still covered under the Manufacturer's Warranty, we typically have to wait for approval prior to ordering the parts, however, we have gone ahead and ordered the needed parts including the decals and the dust cover. ***** ***** (ASM) was very professional and concerned about our issue while we were camping at a near by campground. Had a thermostat issue, could not get air condition system to work. Call for service and she took us in immediately and help get the issue resolved immediately. They were helpful and helped us find our perfect trailer. The delivery guy was not very good but he was contracted by the company and didn't seem to care if we were happy, he just dropped our trailer underneath the power lines and left. When I told our sales associate **** what happened him and his manager **** came out to move the trailer to the concrete slab we had to put it on. We bought our 5th wheel in January 24 at th Defuniak Springs location. The sales process was ok. We went to pick it up later and found several items broken or missing. Service department said we owe you these items. We will make it right. Today May 18 2024 we have not received any of the we owe you parts. After many attempts to resolve the issue through our salesman and service department we are very disappointed. For the remaining item, the exterior trim, we will need you to provide a photo of the damaged area to *****************, as we currently do not have a one on file to assess what is needed for the repair.
