They are only for convenience. They are not hospice . They are 9 to 5 Monday through Friday heaven forbid you need them in the middle of the night or weekends! The weekend before my mother passed, she was screaming out in pain in her sleep, and I could not get a hold of anybody in this agency! Then the nurse told me to give her Tylenol I was like are you kidding me? When I called triage? They told me she was in the middle of transitioning and her meds needed to be adjusted. It was only after I told the nurse that that's what tree are said that the nurse said oh maybe her meds need to be adjusted but did they get adjusted? I didn't get any meds that they adjusted for another 24 hours!!! The day before she passed, I was berated by the manager of the hospice agency, Aaron. I was told that it was my fault my mom had a delay in her care because I was texting. I was told that his entire team was told if I text them they are not to respond. Even though her nurse told me to text her over the weekend! I begged the manager Aaron who had put me on speakerphoneto please stop yelling at me to please stop blaming me and to do this another time because my mom is in the middle of transitioning and the whole team knew that and he knew that and he would not stop and nobody would stop him. I finally had to hang up on him. I said I have nothing else to say to you, sir and then I called back and I said how do I fire you? How do I fire hospice and he said I'll send Michelle over with the paperwork immediately and that was it And I said OK and I hung up and I'm thinking what do I do now my mom is dying and I have no medical help so I called back and I said I can't fire you. I need you my mom is dying dude do you not understand this? He has no business being in this field! It was the worst experience I've ever had. When she died the next morning and they all wanted to come over I said no nobody's allowed at my house. I have no respect for any of you for not sticking up for me or my mom
