I purchased a Chevy Traverse From Elite A.A Auto Group LLC on 8/26/2024 I put a down payment and I had it financed through a company in Lafayette recommend by ******** I was told that the vehicle was a good vehicle multiple times by ******** the advertisement said that the vehicle came with a warranty I have proof from the original advertisement about 2 weeks later on the morning of 9/12/2024 on my way to a job site on the interstate the vehicle suddenly caught on fire as I was driving causing me to stop the vehicle immediately injuring my shoulder I was diagnosed with a thoracic strain in my left shoulder which I have documentation of I was almost stuck by an 18 wheeler on the side of the interstate the vehicle was stuck from the back after I got out to call 911 totaling the Vehicle along with the fire causing me to still owe the finance company I missed work causing me to lose wages I called ******** and told him he initially said he would put my down payment towards another vehicle if I spoke with the finance company then I called back a few days later I asked him about my down payment again he said oh no I can’t do that I can see if I can give you an 800$ tax credit towards another vehicle he also said he had no idea what it was that caused the fire and he couldn't for-see that happening and he told me that if it was the transmission or something like that then that would be different keep in mind we don’t know what caused it the firefighters said they saw a glow from the front of the vehicle all the way to the back the vehicle was still on fire when they arrived the vehicle in my opinion was falsely advertised leaving me in a difficult situation and also questioning the integrity of this business if the car was serviced right I believe something would have indicated a fire hazard somewhere during that process the confusion and the lack of accountability is unprofessional in my opinion and it puts buyers at risk of many hardships because of it

I seen a vehicle posted on FB marketplace in Sept. of 2022. I reached out to ask about the car. I was told that the car wasn't available anymore, but there was others available. My daughter & I went the same day to look to see what was available. I spoke with the owner, Anderson about seeing a car we were interested in. The owner then stated that all his titles were clean. I told him we'd be back on the Saturday. We (my husband, daughter, & I) went back on Saturday. My husband inspected the car. Anderson gave a price of $8,700, we negotiated down to $8,000, along with the struts that needed to be changed. Anderson agreed to fix the struts at no additional charge. We paid cash for the vehicle with an addition warranty of $200, totaling $8,200 for the car. It took us 3 weeks of constant contact to get him to fix the struts on the car. We went to get the vehicle registered in our names in mid-November. However, we were unable to register the vehicle in our names because the title was not cleared, Anderson needed to pay his portion of the taxes. We went back to the dealership to inquire about this information and to get another temporary tag for the vehicle. Unfortunately, Anderson was not there. We spoke with a lady in the office that informed us that they had sent off for the title and they would call us when it came in the mail. We are now in January 2023 and we have still no received a phone call. I stopped by the office today to pickup to see if there was any updates. The gentleman in the office did not know anything about the situation. He called Anderson and was informed that the title was still not received. The gentleman was advised to just issue us yet another temporary tag. We purchased this car 5 months ago, that is enough time for the dealership to have completed the obligations for us to have a cleared title.

This title was released to the client 3 weeks ago. His wife contacted us and came to our office to pick up the title multiple times but we couldn't release it because her name was not on the bill of sale. Mr ****** picked it up in April.
