An agreement was made on 9/30/2020 for Jubilee Construction to install a new roof on my home. Contract amount was $10,300.00. Some damage was discovered when the old roof was removed and an additional $1200.00 was added to the cost. Once we had the agreement, materials were obtained and the work began on the roof. During the replacement of my roofing, I came home late one night to find the workers on my roof in the dark, completing the work by the lights of their vehicles and cellphone flashlights. I notified the ******* *********************** and he assured me there wouldn't be any problems. I have developed 2 leaks in my roof and begin contacting Jubilee back in January. No one has returned to look at my roof. I had to get someone else to come and stop the 1st leak that I discovered in my living room last month. I was having the inside of my house repainted and after the work was done, discovered a 2nd leak a few weeks ago and called Jubilee again and no one has contacted me. My newly painted ceiling is spotted and my new floor is getting wet. I am having someone come on 7/24/2023 to repair the 2nd leak. So far, I have spent $2,000.00 to cover repairs and damages from the leak. Warranty on the contract states: Jubilee Construction, **** to provide 3 year workmanship/labor warranty Material Manufacturer to provide 30 year materials warranty.I have a roof on my home that I can't depend on. Not quite 3 years and 2 leaks have developed and caused damage to my home. I'm not sure if more leaks will develop and cause more damage.

Several nails were found not completely nailed in, causing water to leak in around the nails.

**************** -  Thank you for reaching out to us through the BBB.  I have read your message and have reviewed our project file for your re-roof project.  As a national contractor we log all incoming warranty calls.  I can only find one instance where you called our office number regarding a leak issue.  This was logged into our system on April 25, 2023 at 2:32 pm CT.  Typically, if there is a workmanship issue on one of our roofing projects it becomes immediately apparent after one strong wind or wind-driven rain event. Please review the two attached severe weather history reports.  These reports were provided to us by independent severe weather reporting services to which we subscribe.  Since the installation of your roof system by us your property has experienced no less than 18 severe storm/wind/hail events which exceed the limits of our workmanship warranty coverage as outlined on the back of our Work Authorization contract and on our Warranty document. Because of the substantial amount of severe storm events (Acts of God) that have occurred at your property address since your roof installation, which was completed on 10-14-2020, over 2.5 years ago, we cannot provide you with warranty coverage for damages to your roof system created by storms after our roof installation.  I trust that you understand that we cannot provide warranty coverage for Acts of God which occur after our work is completed.  We suggest that you provide the attached reports to your insurance carrier who should provide you with insurance coverage for new damage to your roof system and any resulting interior damage by storms which occurred after our initial roof installation.  If your insurance carrier provides you with coverage for a new roof system we would be happy to provide you with estimate to replace your roof system again.  Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any other questions or concerns.  We are here to help you in any way we can.

After repeated attempts to contact this company and talking to a receptionist and being reassured my request would be sent to the proper department and someone would contact me. No one ever calls. I requested a copy of the receipt for the new roof they installed on October/2021. I was never given a receipt by the contractor who said he would send it to the insurance company. I need this receipt to show my new insurance company so that they can update the age of the roof. I also requested that they send out a warranty team to inspect a portion of the shingles that are curling up. Haven`t seen them either.

We humbly apologize to Mr. *** for not delivering a Paid-In-Full Receipt within an acceptable time period.  His previous call in requests were being directed via email to an admin specialist who is on maternity leave.  Our phone switchboard personnel was unaware, until today, of this specialists absence.  We have now corrected this error in our systems.  We have also sent Mr. *** a Paid-In-Full Receipt, and have notified our warranty manager to schedule a roof inspection as soon as possible at Mr. ***** convenience.  Thank you, Mr. **** for choosing Jubilee Construction for your roofing needs.  Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.  We are always here to help.
