................................There is a lien in my previous name ****** **************) on a piece of property in Holden, LA which belongs to my sister, **** *******. **** ******* with Premio and Assoc agreed to a settlement in September 2022. I sent him the funds and he has cashed the check (canceled check attached). He says he filed the documents to clear the lien in December, 2022 (see attached). According to the Livingston Parish Clerk of Courts office today (4/6/2023), the Lien is still on the property. Clerk of Courts office has to have either an original document (which I do not have) or he (and only he) can E-file it. I have emailed him multiple times, and have called him multiple times. I have gotten no response besides a copy of what he said was filed back in December, 2022 (attached). It wasn't filed. The lien is still on the property. My sister, **** ******* (who lives in Arkansas) went to **** *******'s office in Prairieville, LA to get the original so she could bring it to the Clerk of Courts office and get it filed. He threw her out of his office and he told her he would call the police on her(I wasn't there, but my understanding was it was very confrontational and ugly). He has my written permission to talk to her (attached). It has been 7 months. If he isn't going to take the lien off or send me the documentation needed to take the lien off, or give the documentation to someone I can send to his office, then I assume he is fraudulent, and I need the funds returned to me so I can hire someone else to take care of this. I live in Oklahoma, and I am disabled. This amount of money was a fortune to me and took me over a year to save up. I would greatly appreciate your help in getting this matter resolved. (and my sister is driving me crazy)

**** ******** negotiated a settlement to pay off a lien filed in Livingston Parish. The settlement was paid in full in September of 2022, but he refuses to file the paperwork releasing the lien. He also will not return phone calls or emails regarding this matter for over a month. The attached email was received, but the Clerk of Court will not accept it from me. He must file it.
