April 22, 2024 To Whom This May Concern: I am writing this complaint to request a refund for a transmission job that was done on my car. I would also like for ******* the mechanic to refund me for the amount for the axle as well as the tires. The transmission went out on my 2017 Nissan Altima in October of 2023. I had a consultation done at two different shops. While trying to decide what choice to make as far as getting the car fixed my brother knew a mechanic whom he trusted to get the job done so for months I allowed my brother to communicate with the mechanic. After so many months I eventually asked for the mechanic’s number, so I called to explain who I was. I also visited the shop where the car was in the beginning of March 2023 in which the mechanic ******* stated that he had just placed an order for a part for the car and it would be finished the same day. He also informed me that the axle and one tire had been replaced due to them being damage while in his care. He texted the next morning saying that he had just picked the part up and he would for sure have the car done that day. Well after weeks of broken promises, poor communication, and horrible customer service I had the car towed to Sparks Nissan where they did a diagnostic test to determine the transmission was bad, the axle was still broken, the tire was still damaged as well as many other problems that I wasn’t aware of. So, the car is in worse condition than it was before it made it to ******* at Forward Automotive. I would like for ******* to refund me the money that was paid to him($2000.00), the cost of the axle, ball joint, and one tire($1740.08). Attached is the breakdown of the cost from Sparks Nissan, text messages between ******* and I, pictures of the broken axle, and the receipt from Forward Automotive. Thanks, ************* ********
