    Purchased a brand new Hearthstone Woodstove and it was delivered and installed by the dealer on 10/28/2023 There are many issues with this stove that I have tried to resolve on my own as the dealer does not return my repeated request for a phone call. The dealer has only attempted to fix one of the problems with this stove (on Dec. 17, 2023) and I have not heard from him since. This stove has not been used more than 3 months and I am struggling to stay warm as it does not heat properly, the oil furnace runs frequently and I am using space heaters in other rooms on the same floor to try to keep warm. I cannot get the room that the stove is burning in up to 70 degrees and in the evening the heat drops drastically. I have much documentation on the calls we did have before Dec. 17th and his response was he would call the maker (Hearthstone Stove Co.) and most times did not get back to me. There is a crack in one of the soapstone tiles which I reported the very first week after arrival and there has been no resolution for that issue either. The stove takes hours to heat up, needs to be constantly fed wood and does not produce an adequate heat. Stove does not burn down the wood efficiently and I have to remove large chunks of raging hot coals in order to put more wood in to burn. I am consumed with stress over this stove and cannot get the dealer/owner Dave M**** to call me back to resolve any of these issues. We have not really had any really cold temperatures yet this season and Im very concerned when it does happen. I need this $8000 nightmare to be resolved.

    I have just reviewed the information that Adams Stove ** provided.  There are so many statements that are false or incorrect.  There is an abundance of wrong information in the January 31st service worker paragraph and shocked with accusations.  I am aware of the way this stove is to be run and as stated previously, there are multiple problems with this device.  He has not attempted to resolve the problems that exist.
    I cannot accept his remedy or resolve with this stove after paying $8076.00 and encounter all these problems.

    Attached is a letter I just received from the Richmond Fire Chief after he inspected the woodstove yesterday. 
    It is a letter condemning any further use of this device. He also took pictures of the interior walls which are falling apart.  I need Dave M**** to take this stove back and refund my money. This stove is only 4 months old as of today.
