I have been attempting to cancel since January and have offered them medical notes regarding why. They refuse to allow me to cancel only sending me a form in March, which I backdated to the day in January I asked to cancel, and they continue to charge me. Ive been offering medical documentation regarding concerns from long COVID (which I initially tested positive for COVID for the first time EVER just a few days after attending one of their sessions back in August 2023 as a ClassPass member) since this Fall and they proceed to stop responding once I give push back (I have never once been out of line with them in this push back and did inform them that I would be filing with BBB if they charged me ever again). I am looking for compensation for all charges since the start of the year and have an open dispute with my credit card company as well.

    To Whom It concerns,

We have done everything we could to help this member. She said she got a foot injury back in January so we held her monthly membership. Her memberships then reactivated and we didn't hear anything again until March 8th, where she said she was in a desperate financial situation nothing at all about long covid until we told her all memberships requires 30 day cancellation notice prior to her billing date per the membership agreement she signed. We offered to work with her to help modify classes if she still wanted to work out and she declined, so we told her that she would need to fill out our cancellation form and we would process the cancellation. Of course she didn't like that response and threatened to contact the BBB when we have done everything completely by the books. Her memberships is currently set to cancel as of May 5th. This is just an attempt to deface a company because the member unfortunately couldn't get what she wanted. We will not be issuing a refund as everything has been followed per her membership agreement.

I joined Title Boxing Club at the North Station location in Boston, MA in February of 2023. I was a member for several months, but the classes did not work well with my schedule. I canceled my membership over the phone on 4/24/23, and as my credit card was no longer linked to my account, I assumed that was the last of it. On 7/19/23, I began receiving texts from *********************, the general manager, threatening to send $328 to collections for what **** is calling past due membership fees. I have not attended a class since 4/24 as you can see in the attached image, and this feels like extortion, especially as the debt was sent to collections without any attempt to remediate the situation. I see many comments on this gym's Better Business Bureau profile of people experiencing similar issues when attempting to cancel their membership. My desired outcome would be for the collection to be removed from my credit report and the debt erased since I believe it is wrongful. I do not wish to harm the clubs reputation, but any attempt I made to resolve the situation on my own was met with hostility, and this week I received a notice from a debt collection agency billing me for $820.30 including fees.

We at Title Boxing Club Boston are solely about the members. This member was notified 8 times of his membership being in a past due state, we emailed him multiple times which he opened and read and then chose not to respond to our emails regarding the past due balance (I have attached here). After trying to reach out to him multiple times on 7/19 we reached him via text one last time before it was sent to collections so we could resolve the matter in a respectful and adult manner (which also is attached) the member stated he cancelled over the phone which is strictly against the membership agreement that he signed and agreed to, we require all cancellations to be done in the club in person or via mail which I explained to the member and he chose once again not to respond to the message. Title Boxing Club Boston has made every attempt to rectify this member issues and concerns with no resolve from the member on his own behalf.
