I've been a commercial photographer for 10 years and have never dealt with such unprofessional people.I was hired to photograph lifestyle images for their property One ****** in July 2023. They asked to remove late fees from our contract, to which I declined. Huge red flag! Commercial shoots are often paid after the shoot vs before, and without late fees clients can pay you whenever they feel without consequences, which could be 2-3 months after the fact. Contract signed.They were given 40 days to pay for my services with plenty of payment options - credit card, check, etc. After multiple email reminders, warnings, and a generous additional 10 day grace ******* they finally paid after a third party contact got involved and told them to pay asap. The organizer of the shoot and main contact ****** (who also signed the contract) and finance director **** stopped responding to any of my emails or texts after they received the photos. Very cute!Then, they refused to pay their contractually obligated late fees, telling the third party the fees were "unreasonable." *****, their VP and general counsel also signed our contract legally binding them to late fees. I had to get a lawyer involved, as they were ALL ghosting me for months and refusing to respond to my emails despite seeing that they have been opening them. THEY HAVE EVEN GHOSTED THE LEGAL NOTICES! They STILL did not respond to official mailed notices from my lawyer. Now, they have asked for me through a third party to remove the review. Not to pay me, to remove the review! UNREAL.I am an independent, small business owner who can't afford to take a large company to court. My lawyer said legal fees would eat through what they owe me before even getting to court. If you're thinking about working with this company, be warned.
