    I purchased a car from McGee GMC of Charlton on 7/28/2023.I traded in a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon for a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The trade is financed through **** ********. I went back to the dealership to re-sign paperwork because of a gap contract & tire & wheel contract I did not want and wanted it removed from my sale. This happened on 8/2/2023. It's been almost a month of my trade not being paid off. **** is aware of the issue but cannot do anything once it reaches 30 days past due. It will then hit my credit fi it has not already. We've contacted the dealership numerous times and Justin speaks to us stating that his office manager will handle it, we've never spoke to an office manager. He also claimed it was paid off on 8/7/23 but can't provide proof. He now says his office manager is in the emergency room. It has been excuse after excuse. The dealership had very little staff and the experience has been nothing but a problem. They still owe us a detail and reimbursement for $35 for an inspection sticker we got elsewhere because we did not want to go back. At this time we filed a complaint with the state, with you, and customers need to be aware of what is happening at this dealership. There's a new owner, the place is empty, and something is off.

    The payoff had been sent out on 8/7. The issue that happened was we actually had 2 customers we very close to the same last names...***** and another customer whos' last name extremally close with 2 letters switched around. unfortunately when our office manager sent the payoffs out they went to the wrong lender. There were no excuses being made. My office manager had called ***** and relayed this information to her as well. and I was simply relaying the answers i was getting back to her from my accounting office. and yes one day my office manager was in the emergency room. The reimbursement check and hard copy of reg are here as we were going to give them in person when they came in for their detail but have not heard back on any level. I feel terrible that this happened and it was truly an honest mistake that was a major one but at the end of the day nothing was done maliciously and all we tried to do was rectify the situation.

    I paid roughly 30 thousand dollars (with trade in) for a used 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe from McGee on November 10, 2022 but have yet to receive a registration (as included in the contract) as of November 30 2022 and am unable to inspect or legally use my car.

    Attached is a copy of the registration for the 2019 Hyundai Santa FE purchased by **************** showing the vehicle was properly registered on 11/23/22 - one day after providing the necessary proof that the personal check written to purchase the vehicle had cleared his account.  Per our company policy, any personal check written over the amount of $10,000.00 require a ten business day wait OR proof of the check clearing provided to us by our customer.  Our customers are always informed and given the option to provide a certified bank check for payment to avoid the 10 day wait or need to provide proof of clearing.  The check **************** provided to purchase the vehicle was receipted in and sent to the bank for deposit on 11/14/22 leaving the 10th business day to be 11/29/22, however the necessary proof of clearing was provided prior to reaching the 10 day mark.  There was also a delay in receiving the proper registry paperwork back from his insurance company which **************** also provided on 11/22/22 along with the proof of the personal check clearing.  I'm not sure if the delay was on his insurance companies end or if **************** hadn't added the vehicle to his policy.

    **************** was sent a picture of the registration once it was processed and the original was sent in the mail per his request.  The 2019 Santa FE is currently at our dealership for service work.
