    I hired **** ********************** to paint a bathroom. He came to the property on June 3, 2023 to paint the walls and ceiling of a small bathroom. He also was to fill in nail holes prior to painting. He was to also stain and seal the wood enclosing the skylight in that bathroom and a shelf and a window sill in two other rooms. He arrived at 12:30pm and finished painting the walls, staining and sealing the wood around the skylight and window sill and shelf in two other rooms. around 5:30pm. I looked in the bathroom, the paint still wet, looked ok. This is a seasonal property so, I paid him the $500.00 by personal check, **** left and then I left. On my way home I realized he did not paint the ceiling of the bathroom. I called him when I arrived at my residence and told him he didn't complete the job, the ceiling was not painted. He said he forgot and would return the next Saturday. On Thursday, June 8 th, **** texted me asking what time I would be arriving at the property on Friday, June 9. I responded that he had told me last week he was doing it on Saturday, June 10th. I contacted a relative in that area and had them let him in the property to finish the job. I drove to the property on Saturday June 10th to inspect the finished paint job. The finished product had much to be desired. I actually had to repaint one of the walls myself because it had blue streaks that appeared on the off-white wall the next day. The nail hole filing, not smoothed before painting, all visible as discolored spots. Dried latex paint left on the wood trim, which I had to remove myself. I contacted Mr. ********************** to discuss the problems but he did not return text nor call. I sent him a photo of the blue streaks that were on the wall. No response. I had to go to the local hardware store, purchase a paint tray and roll set. Repaint the wall as high as I could go without a ladder to cover the blue streaks. I purchased Goof-off to remove the dried paint he had left on the wood trim. I had to touch up some other spots where he had missed painting and a few holes in the wall I had to refill and paint.

    Complaint number ********. The the person in question was quicker to call you than talk to me. First of all.

    Second of all, she sent me 1 text. No, multiple phone calls. no multiple texts, 1 text.

    I will probably call her to find out when she would be available to let me paint this room. That's all I am going to do
