I booked a room for two nights on 6/13 which is for July 26/28. No cancelation notice was on the confirmation sheet. I cancelled the booking this morning (7/23) and again no mention was made of any cancellation fee on cancellation notice. I went to my online banking today and saw that they charged my account ******. I called the business, spoke with ***** and asked that they reverse the charge, because I did not sign and I was not aware of any cancellation policy. She said the owner would not due a refund. I now had to file a claim with my bank. This establishment has very poor communication and ethics towards patrons. I refuse to pay for a good/service that I did not receive. If they were going to have any "non refundable" booking fee that should have been on something I either signed or received from the hotel. I'm not a mind reader. . . .

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint, however, I resolved the charge with my bank. No further action is needed.

Saturday September 16th @ 1:05 am I stopped in the pouring rain at the *********************************************** for a night's rest as I'd been driving for 5-6 hours from ************ to see my son in ***********. He was at work at the ******** was told by the young man there were no vacancies. Then he had an available room, I was not told a price, given paperwork, or asked for an email to send a receipt. When I checked out the next day, I noticed a $510 charge & a $150 charge for "incidentals" I was told. I specifically asked for paperwork & an explanation of charges to which I was refused. I asked would I be refunded Half of what I was charged including a full refund of the incidentals charge & was told yes by the same young man. On the 17th I asked why neither the 1 night nor the incidentals charge was refunded, the same ***** man(never gave his name nor wore a name tag) stated I had to stay 2 nights!!!. I didn't need to stay 2 nights & asked for a Spvsr. please. ***** was not only completely rude, short with me & condescending, but with no answers nor a resolve hung up on me. A review of their cameras will show I left them an untouched room the very next day & checked out.

We stayed at the Seaport Inn and Marina while we were in town to participate in the triathlon. We booked this hotel because it was rated high for cleanliness. When we walked in the woman at the desk was super ride but is irrelevant. We get up to our room and check out the bathroom and there are globs of hair everywhere and used qtips on the floor. There is hair on our towels as well. When we get ready to go to bed the alarm clock is fritzing out and the lights in the room don't work either. We try to plug in our phones and not one of the outlets work in the entire room and since no outlets no alarm clock and no way to charge our phones. Luckily, my wife had a charging port to charge one of the phones so we could have an alarm to wake up in time. We paid $220 for a room that had nothing working in it and was disgusting. I called down to the front desk to tell them that we had no working outlets and nothing was done. She seemed like it was an inconvenience that I even dare mention there was a problem. In the morning we spoke with ***** at the front desk we mentioned all the problems and he asked what we were looking for. We said at least a 50% refund would he fair since no working outlets, hair every where, used qtips, no alarm clock, and no coffee in the morning because again no working anything in our room. ***** said I can do 50, we're like great. I get the refund and we were refunded $50 not 50%. My wife called and was told a Manger would get back to her but no one did. We called again and was told by *****, whom took the initial message, and he said if they didn't call you they're not going to do anything. Then we told him we were going to escalate the matter further and he said he would have the owner call us. We told him we would wait to file a formal complaint until the owner called us before he left at 3:00 PM. That also didn't happen. All we are asking for is an additional $60 which doesn't seem unreasonable given we had a non-functioning room.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. We tried several times to contact them prior to filling this complaint and was told they would not speak to us and since they didn't call us back they weren't doing anything.

I stayed at Seaport from Sept. 19 2022 thru Sept. 24, 2022. I had 3 reservations $197.48, ****** & $130. They stated on their website that they had a bar, restaurant, free breakfast & live entertainment of none was provided. I contacted front desk and was offered $27 refund and I declined. I contacted my credit card ************** couldn't help. If I cant get a refund, I would like others to know of the claims they make that are not true. I chose this place because I am disabled and I wanted everything they offered at the location so I didnt have to travel. They not only didnt have amenities I needed but ***************** was under construction and the pool was too filthy to use. They need to be stopped. The front desk still has business cards to a inn that no longer exist and the website has pictures of a restaurant and bar that has been removed. Motel under construction & under new management. Lots of complaints online about all these things and more
