  On 10/04/2023, I hired New England Construction Boston to refinish two exterior doors and repair three water-damaged ceiling areas in my home. However, the quality of work and professionalism displayed was extremely disappointing, coupled with unforeseen and unjustified charges.1. Shopping for ********************** spent nearly three hours shopping for materials on the clock, charging $65 per man per hour, which resulted in an unexpected cost.2. Unprofessional Work: While refinishing the exterior doors, a significant amount of dust was created and entered my home due to their negligence in working too close to the house. I was further billed $65/hr for one of the workers to clean up the mess they created.3. Incomplete Work: Upon completion of repainting, the workers failed to reinstall the deadbolt properly, compromising the security of my home. They left without notifying me of this oversight.4. Ceiling Repair: The repair work on one of the ceiling areas was subpar, leaving an obvious crack and an uneven surface. Paint was also splashed onto several pieces of my furniture.5. Lack of Response: The owner, ********, offered to redo the poorly done ceiling repair, but due to the lack of trust and professionalism shown, I did not feel comfortable allowing them back into my home.6. Additional Costs: Due to their negligence, I had to hire another company to fix the deadbolt, incurring additional costs and inconvenience.I am seeking a full refund for the services rendered due to the poor quality of work, unprofessionalism, and additional costs incurred as a direct result of their actions. I also believe that other potential customers should be made aware of the level of service provided by New England Construction Boston to avoid similar incidents.I look forward to the BBB's assistance in resolving this matter and hope to hear back at the earliest convenience.
