The clock that Mr **************** is referring to dose not ring a bell There are a few people that
have had clocks repaired that I demanded $100.00 deposit  the mantle
clock that He,s talking about does not ring a bell like I said there was
an Atmos that was here that someone had left that someone tries to
repaired themself that type did not require lubrication on most pivots &
the $100.00 dollars deposit does not go back to the customer ,I spent
countless hours working on & I asked the customer if He or someone had
tried to work on he said He gave me the impression He was not telling
the Truth the man who owned that Atmos clock picked up that clock .now 1
1/2 weeks ago about this clock that he,stalked about He mentioned that
that clock belonged to His parents that had both passed on & He seemed
young & mentioned that do I need to sue you & left it at that He never
mentioned about that I did not want to go to court that,s not true I
said are you out of your mind? & hung up the phone ..Can you ask him
about his ticket number? & what kind of clock it was cause that name I
don,t recall .I have no reason to keep an item that does not belong to
me ,I don,t operate this kind of business & (,v been in this spot for 39
    +years I,m 73 now & I started when I was 17 I would not be in business
that long if I ran a business that way forgive me if I sent a letter
this long but that,s the way it happened .Thank You & God Bless. Gaetan.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered.

I have attached a copy of the "Claim ticket," which MR. ********************** alleges does not exist. MR. ********************** continues his pattern of diversion and obfuscation and does not address the facts mentioned in the original complaint, which continues to be the fact that he accepted an expensive mantel Clock for Repair, took a deposit,....and over a long period of time and inactivity made numerous excuses, diversions, and outright misrepresentations all with the same theme of "your clock isn't ready."  To this day MR. ********************** continues his misleading rhetoric and to this day we are out a family heirloom.

As far as "the businesses response," MR. ********************** now has fabricated some kind of story, which to any reasonable person is very difficult to understand, makes no sense when carefully read, and is full of more obfuscations and misrepresentations.  Again all anyone has to know is how frauds and scams operate. This is textbook denial and delay.

We repeatedly asked him to return our property, he refuses. He now writes about some kind of Unknown Clock , why? In some kind of continuing ongoing attempt to confuse others? We just don't understand his response.

We fully understand that we trusted this individual, AND we continue to be deprived of our property after repeated requests to return it. He can keep the $100.00 dollars he took as a deposit, and yes if he doesn't return our property, which by all apparent self evident in the many conversations taken place over time, MR. ********************** has NOT made any attempt to repair whatsoever, we have every intention of calling the Police.

MR. ********************** at no time ever called us to inform us of his progress, we have always initiated all conversations. And each and every conversation he NEVER indicated any current cost to repair, or did he ever indicate when he would finish the repair. He has never presented us with anything in writing, like a bill or an estimate. The only thing MR. ********************** has done is to answer the phone and utter one excuse after another.

WE want our property back!  And will seek legal means to do so or just compensation for MR. ********************** deceptive business practices.

All he has to do is return it. As discussed ad nauseam.

    HE REFUSES.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

I gave Mr. ********************** two watches for repair this past February. He explained that he had some medical issues and it might not be until the late spring before completion. I called him in May after not hearing from him. He said that he was catching up with his backlog. He called me in June asking for a deposit ($400-500) so he could order parts for my Rolex and Omega. I received assurances that the work would be completed shortly. I called again in August and he again said that he was catching up and his health issue was slowing him down. It is now November, I called him again x2 still no watch . I would not entrust any repairs to him unless you are prepared to lose your money1

I brought my ***************************** style clock to Mr. ********************** for repairs on 01/14/2020. I have been in touch with him several times about updates for when it would be repaired and I received excuses about why it wasnt fixed or ready. I spoke to him last this past February, and when he told me the clock still wasnt fixed, I asked for my clock back and offered to pay him for any work he completed. He did not like that Idea and said that it would be ready by 03/24/2022. I havent heard from him since then, so I tired to reach him today. His voicemail indicates that the memory is full and you cant leave a message. I want my clock back.
