Northeast Family Services is the most unethical place I have ever worked. The person below was 1000% correct. "after being hired here as an experienced professional helper for youth. & families alike, I was lied to about my salary and hourly requirements which suited more of a "bait and switch" tactic for payment. I was also not provided adequate training and was told I could not "work full time" due to my hourly requirement, but was also not given a large enough case load to meet this expectation. I also noticed that the quality of services provided to children was extremely lackluster, did not genuinely provide therapeutic intervention" Unbelievable. Northeast Family Service is easily the worst mental health provider I have had the experience working with. Sadly, after being hired here as an experienced professional helper for youth. & families alike, I was lied to about my salary and hourly requirements which suited more of a "bait and switch" tactic for payment. I was also not provided adequate training and was told I could not "work full time" due to my hourly requirement, but was also not given a large enough case load to meet this expectation. I also noticed that the quality of services provided to children was extremely lackluster, did not genuinely provide therapeutic intervention, and was disorganized. Some staff members were mismanaged or placed into the wrong intervention teams despite staff themselves voicing that their expertise was in other realms. Lastly, level management could not give a **** less about the children or families themselves. They do not check in with progress, they do not make decisions based on the genuine well-being of the client themselves, and treat employees poorly so that they do not want to stay and continue service.STAY AWAY. This is a FOR PROFIT mental health company and it is apparent that upper level management does not truly care about the children and staff members they are responsible for! I have worked in this field for years and have multiple degrees and this is easily the worst place I have ever been involved with!
