  My initial interaction with ************************* from After Hours Marine now (KSG Marine Repair) was in March 2023. We received a quote to have a remanufactured ***** Penta Long block installed undressed using parts from existing engine per recommendation from him the professional in this field. Received detailed estimated quote March $10.936.95, had boat brought to him in May . It took him until August 2023 to complete the work.updated final bill $13,569.00 When Boat was transported and put in the water it did not run. He said batteries dead, then a wiring issue. We were supposed to have a sea trial that never happened. When we attempted to take the boat out the first time ourselves it stalled out and would not restart. It did not sound right we called and texted pics and videos to him, he said he'd come next day. He said something unplugged. We had to buy a clip. Still not running he came back to diag it and said Coolant temp, cam sig fault, crank sensor inside distributor. . This was before boat was pulled out of the water for the season to do first thing in the spring. This was done (We paid for this too, I have to find that bill i think it was $557.91). When boat got put in water in May still not running will not turn over. He thought it was a starter, charged us to change that $595.80. Still did not turn over. Said he would be back. He ignored multiply phone calls and didn't show up when he finally made arrangements. It wasn't until we had someone else down to the boat to try to figure out what was wrong that he finally answered and claimed it can't be. We discovered the engine was not bolted down correctly, bolt is out and engine is shifted. He took off the risers and the manifolds and said they went bad, how could that be the engine was not run more than a hr. The engine is locked up and does not turn over. it needs a new engine and he is not taking responsibility for his work and that the engine was not done properly and never ran.
