Complaint #******** Hello , this is sherrys tires 4 less located on **************************************** I am responding in regards to a complaint filed by ******* Constant on 11/11/2024 . This customer came to us asking about a quote on a job . We then gave him an ESTIMATED quote which would vary depending on the vehicles status ( rusted bolts , major leaks , or anything that would need to be additionally replaced due to wear and tear ) . The customer then had vehicle towed off (doesn't drive ) with no notice after we had already arranged a date and time knowing this vehicle is not accessible to move . None the less , we started to work on his car and gave him a call in regards to updates and the vehicles condition . It was clear someone else had try to do this job already ( ) and caused us to have missing bolts , an excess amount of oil in engine bay , and extreme wear and tear on parts around . At this point the customer expected the price to say and the minimum of the estimated quote a
mount . We explained it would not be that amount due to unexpected issues while working on the car before continuing the job. We gave the customer the option to take his car if he was unhappy with the way of service or price , but at the end of the day our shop has policies and will not work under pay grade . The customer told us to continue the job just for when the car was complete to go back and forth on pricing once again . We informed him he would have to pay and there is just no way we would return the vehicle to the customer after several hours of agreed work for free . The customer then came and paid us took his vehicle and left . I dont understand this complaint because from the beginning he had the option to take back his vehicle before us working on it or anything and he told us to proceed with the job knowing the cost .
