Numotion is doing everything to prevent my husband from getting his wheelchair. Now I am told that they can't finish the order because he is in the hospital for aspirational pneumonia. This is caused by not having a proper wheelchair to sit in which he needs to do for 2 hours after each stomach feeding. The loaner we have is so uncomfortable, he cannot use it.Numotion Response

I am in a wheelchair and numotion is constantly denying my request for repairs due to bugs that got in my chair and my father exterminate my chair with pesticides and pressure washed my chair at the car wash and everything numotion still denies my request for repairs. I moved to another apartment to move away from the bugs numotion still denies my repair request.Review from William P

Im set up on a payment plan and not only are they making me pay for faulty parts (Casters) that should have been under warranty they have cancelled my order 3 times for non payment! Im still on a payment plan!! I will definitely be asking my new insurance provider for an alternative solution and I would not recommend doing business with these crooks.Numotion Response

It has already been addressed and taken care of. The issues I had as well as most of the issues that the other reviews are having should have never happened! Every time. Every time I have a need for wheelchair repair, Numotion takes an unusually long time process my request, get insurance approval, order the part(s), and schedule the repair. Sometimes it takes weeks. Sometimes months. This is my only means of mobility. Their mismanagement, or purposeful negligence should be criminal because it directly affects my health and well being.Numotion Response

My experience with Numotion was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of purchasing and repairing durable medical ************ joystick on my chair died all of a sudden, rendering it inoperable. I called to get an appointment to have it fixed. They did a televisit evaluation and said they would have to get with my doctor an insurance company before ordering the parts. I asked if they had a loaner joystick or chair that I could use in the meantime. Their answer was we don't have one available. We will have someone contact you with information about renting a chair. That never happened. Two days after it broke down, my brother took the chair to our local branch in *******,,** about an hour away from us. The tech looked at it and said there' was nothing he could do to fix it temporarily until my parts came in. He said I would have to wait till the new one came in. I explained to them the situation I was in and that I relied on my chair to be able to get around and take care of myself. Without a chair I couldn't get out of bed. They told me they would go ahead and pre-order the parts so that when the doctor 's prescription and insurance approval came through they could install it. I expedited the doctor's note by contacting them and having them complete it that same day. I also expedited the insurance approval in the same manner. Both of these were done within a couple days. I spoke with them on a daily basis throughout the process expressing my concern each day. I ended up buying a used chair off marketplace so I could just get around my home. Every number you try to call sends you through customer service which majority of the time is in the ***********. They are unable to answer questions or provide information. They simply forward you to the right department or send them a message to call you. This is a waste of time.Numotion Response

What good would that do? I spoke to the branch manager at my local branch in *******, **. He was no help at all. Your company is a poor excuse for a durable medical equipment provider and I will let EVERYONE I can know not to use your company. Tell me what good it does to have an advisory board made up with individuals with disabilities if you don't listen or utilize their knowledge. I know they would not advise you to treat your customers like you do. Also, why do all your numbers route you through customer service agents in the ***********? You can not get a direct number or email address to a manager or branch. I'm sure that is on purpose because your assistance is to contact your customer service. What a joke!Review from Joe D

Terrible experience. Did not get the order correct, and never addressed my concerns. Less than six months of ownership and have had many issues. I expected much higher quality and service given the cost of this wheelchair. This company does not communicate well with its customers and seems to only be concerned with how they can get money from your insurance company. Worse yet is their lack of concern regarding safety issues regarding their product and lack of willingness to service their defective product.Numotion Response

Worst customer service ever! My mom bought a power chair from them less than two years ago. It has had nonstop mechanical problems. Early October a fire door in her apartment building closed on her chair and broke her footrest. It took them three weeks to fax the insurance form to her providers office and over a month with zero communication from them. When I called to request a loaner footrest, they said they would call back and never responded. My mom has had to use a bungee cord to hold her leg on her other footrest for FIVE weeks. Save yourself some heartache and find another mobility company!Numotion Response

I give them no stars! We have been told they did not want to go to the skilled nursing facility to repair a chair. They have come to the facility three times twice for the tech to observe the problem with the chair and once to repair it. The chair has needed three repairs in the 18 months weve owned it new motors for months into ownership. At this point, we have waited close to six months for the needed repairs with little to nobody reaching out to us. We always have to reach out to them. They have asked us to do numerous things which we have complied with like getting a more recent doctors order ECT. Then when the pedal hits the metal, they dont want to come out to a skilled nursing facility. How about offering us some solutions that you can do like bring the chair into their facility. Ive had to connect them with doctors. Ive had to connect them with the insurance. I feel that I should not have to connect them with these people and they should be able to handle it themselves. So, my father sits with a very broken down chair thats not even that old with insurance to pay for it yet they wont come out. NUmotion and NUmotion bought out all the little companies now we have no other choice than to deal with them. Somebody **** to fix this for the people of *******!Review from Terra B

I took my 7 yo son to get fitted for a new wheelchair and a stander activity chair. Prior to that , I asked about any outstanding bill I may have as I was going to turn it in with my KB Medicaid renewal. I was told there was no bill. So I take him to get measured excited about the stander for my son. 4 weeks go by I haven’t heard anything and on the app it shows no nee orders. So I call to see what is the status as I know it needs to go through insurance first, only to find out they never processed it due to an old outstanding bill. First I was told the bill was $56.00 then 2 weeks later told it was $2200.00. I emailed the billing department and have not heard back since!!!!! Im frustrated because for one.. NOBODY CALLED TO INFORM ME THEY WERE NOT PROCESSING THE ORDER AND FOR 2, I WAS GIVEN 2 different amounts AND BILLING WONT RESPOND!!! I guess they really don’t care about servicing special needs .. its all about the money.. mind you they bill like 70k and more for equipment . I look at my insurance claims!! And the cost is outrageous YET they won’t call or respond to my current order…and now my 7 year old will not have equipment.Numotion Response

horrible business, after 2 years of fighting to get a product that is for myself and works it still hasn't happened. now i can't talk to anyone I get lied to, and told a supervisor will get back to, which no one has ever.Numotion Response
